My son just started here, and I have to say I LOVE everything about this facility. They have online pay/auto pay, a daycare app that allows you to see what your child has done(naps, feedings, diapers) and they even send you photos of your baby/kid during the day. They have great security with a coded front locked door and check in/out through and app and code system. We just started here, and I have to say from first impressions until now I've been continually impressed. They treat my son lik a part of their small family. Just signed my baby boy up to start here. Deposit was very fair. Staff is very nice and helpful. Someone is always readily available and their security check in/out process seems super secure and safe. Every detail was asked for on their part regarding baby boy so no stone seems left unturned. Grateful for this facility to take care of our son so I can get back to work and make a living to support our family. Looking forward to becoming part of the Carousel family
The day my nanny told me she was moving I was horrified! I searched and visited several daycare facilities in the West Ashley area, and found Carousel to be the best choice in the area! In order to tour the majority of them, I needed to make an appointment. I thought that was odd. Why couldn't I pop in, do you have something to hide? I wondered. Carousel has an open door policy, no appt. needed. I went there to tour and immediately felt like family! My son played while Ms. Pam spent time showing me all of the classrooms, introducing me to the staff and answering all of my questions. Every morning we are greeted with smiles. The staff is amazing! It is not just a daycare, it is a hands-on learning environment everyday! My son enjoys going to 'school' each day and has LOVED all of his teachers. We will be sad next year when he moves on to Kindergarten! I
My son has gone to Carousel since he was 8 weeks old. He'll be leaving for Kindergarten next year, and we will be sad to leave! All of his teachers/caregivers there through the years have genuinely cared for his learning and development. Any concerns I have had were quickly taken care of by the staff. The directors are constantly working to upgrade the facility with books, technology, classroom supplies, and programs. If I were to have any more children, Carousel would be my first choice!
My son has been attending Carousel since February of 2012. I was referred to this daycare by two neighbors who are educators. I visited several other places prior to visiting Carousel; the other places were newer and had more expensive toys and outdoor play equipment. I chose Carousel because the staff is amazing! If you are one of those moms who would say "well I never," this is not the place for your child. The women who run this place have been here since the doors opened over 20 years ago. A few of the teachers have been there just as long- and now their daughters teach there too. As it happens, the daughters are my son's teachers. I know that Karen & Sophie treat my child like they do their own; that is worth so much more to me than fancy toys & slides.
