What Parents Say
Carole Robertson Center for LE receives overwhelmingly positive feedback from most parents, with praise for professional, caring staff and a loving environment. However, two recent 1-star reviews raise serious concerns about communication failures, program management, and child safety incidents.
I had a home based program. Which the teacher Ana Hernandez will always tell me I will call you back and she wouldn't. She dropped my daughter from the program and didn't give me paperwork. She doesn't answer the texts it's been already almost a month that she text me she was dropping her. Didn't call me at all hasn't answered me. Every time she missed a meeting and my daughter had to get resources most times she kept them. I feel mad now they just dropped the people from programs we get notified by text that's so unprofessional. I give Zero stars.
I am so hurt and in disbelief by this situation if you love your children please do not send them here, this is how my baby came back home after going somewhere I thought he would be safe. The teachers acted as if they had love for My child but they let this happen to him. This saddens me deeply.
Very nice and friendly staff, always courteous and professional. Staff treats children very nice, I was taken care of there many years ago and my sisters were taken care of there too from 2017-2020, teachers there always put the children first and focus on their development. Very grateful to them for the support they've provided over the years!
If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. Aside from being a teacher, I am a tutor for children grades K-8 through a 3rd part company. I tutor a client who attends the summer program here. The front desk could really benefit from a communication training. My first day tutoring here, staff could not locate my client for over thirty minutes which was concerning. Today, there was a lockdown at the site due to local gunshots. I was unaware of the lockdown and went to the center as usual and was allowed entry into the site without being made aware of an ongoing lockdown. As a teacher, I’m well aware of the fact that during a lockdown, no one is granted entry in OR out of the building for safety precaution to the children and staff at the school. However this was clearly not the case at this site. If it was a LOCAL shooting, anyone coming into the site could’ve been the individual shooting within the area. After canceling the session due to the lockdown I attempted to leave and was THEN given the protocol of not being able to leave due to a local shooting. The whole situation was poorly handled and I fear for any child that comes to this poorly trained center.
Staff is very professional they show genuine concern for the children. Human resource department are in house and will work with you and your child through anything. I feel safe with my daughter here.
