Caring Kids Preschool

The staff doesn't communicate with the parents and has a major hush hush policy when it comes to MANY incidents parents should know about. My son's belongings have gone missing multiple times and he has come home with others on multiple occasions as well. We pulled him because of the 0 communication and I emailed the school after to be ignored...shocker. Called them and was told Ruth would talk to the owner...again, never heard back. If you love your kids, dont send them here.

Edit: Caring Kids is permanently closed, the owner emailed parents giving less than 24 hours notice before closing their doors at the end of October 2025. Really sad, I loved this place. I absolutely love this place. I first started bringing my middle daughter here when they opened—around 2014 or 2015. From the very beginning, Ms. Ruth has always been front and center, helping anyone and everyone. She's amazing and now oversees the Rifle center. Now, my youngest daughter, who is two, has been attending since she was a baby. I couldn’t be happier with her current teachers, Criselly and Fernanda. Her past teachers—Ms. Carmen, Ms. Gladys, Torrie, and Evette—were all wonderful too. I’ve always felt completely confident and at ease leaving her in their care. She never cries at drop-off and genuinely enjoys being there every day. They spend time outside with her when the weather allows, and she's learning Spanish, colors, numbers—everything she should be at this age. She's grown and learned so much already! Even though it’s a financial stretch, I wouldn’t take her anywhere else. Knowing she’s safe, learning, and surrounded by loving, trustworthy people is priceless to me. Childcare options in our community are extremely limited—and even more so now than they were a decade ago when my middle daughter was enrolled at Caring Kids. I feel incredibly fortunate to have them. I’m so grateful they’re still here and such a valuable part of our community. They’ve truly been a lifeline for my family.

If i could attach a voice memo i would. All around this place has rude staff and owner. For months i have requested my daughters records and ive gotten very minimal. BUT THEY REQUEST RECORDS FROM ME, they just cant share them back or??? This is my child whom i have full rights to. Upon months of requested updates or more documentation i get “ill send it by end of day” and i get nothing for weeks to months! I have voice notes of Jennifer Knott (owner) yelling at me commanding me to stop talking, calling me ridiculous, wont let me talk and just yells. Staff hanging up, providing minimal ANYTHING . FERPA is a law to which this location does not abide by. If staff up to the very owner is this unprofessional with a parent who's child goes to , i can only imagine how children are being spoken to. Yelling at parent and threatening with restraining orders over not being able to provide documentation is completely uncalled for , unprofessional, rude, disrespectful and its all coming from a DAYCARE of small children
