My son went to Care A Lot since he was 3. He attended from daycare or VPK until kindergarten. The beginning was very rough with getting my son into a routine then transitioning to VPK. The facility is well-kept, I felt comfortable with the security of the facility and staff has pretty decent communication. I will say they did an AMAZING job at getting my son acclimated. They showed him grace, but held him accountable. Prior to attending here, I was worried he’d have some behavioral issues. But Ms. Darla was phenomenal. She was transparent with me about his behavior and helped fixed it. She was stern but oh-so loving. Moving on to kindergarten has been smooth so far and I can only thank their program for that. Everyday, while picking my son up from kindergarten for the first week he’d tell me, “Mama, Ms. Darla was right about kindergarten…..” and he’d tell me something she told her VPK class about being a big kid and going to elementary school. It melted my heart. SHE had a positive impact on him that will last a lifetime and for that, I am one grateful mama. Thank you Care A Lot ❤️

Our third time here and my two year old went from crying to being dropped off to running through the door. My four year old loves tumble bugs which is a tumbling class they offer on Mondays. Toddlers can be challenging and there’s great communication each day about behaviors and expectations so parents and teachers are on the same page.

1-2yo classroom; Lunch comes home untouched, juice and water comes home untouched, staff cut my child's hair (had never had first cut before). Staff relentlessly denies any fault regardless of evidence proving otherwise. Director has no remorse or accountability for actions of staff stating "what do you want me to do". Overall terrible experience. VPK staff and classrooms on the other hand; fantastic. Caring, work on individual needs with each child, play centered learning, very communicative. Would not send children under four.

My now almost 4 year old has gone to this daycare since he was 7 weeks old. Dana - the owner - runs a great program. Each employee/teacher has been great to my son. Never once has my son been upset to go to daycare. They're great!!!

If I could give this place less than a 1 star I would! My grandkids went there for around 3 months… long enough for the 2 yr old to get 3 really bad diaper rashes and come home on the regular with bite marks on him and nobody knew how it happened. Personal items were “misplaced” until they were pushed to find them. The 4 yr old came home and said the teacher pulled her hair. When they got here in December she put their names on waiting lists so they could be in the same daycare. Care A. Lot was the first to call. God answered a prayer when the new place , called and said they had a spot open for both. So we moved them. My grandkids are thriving and happy at the new place. No more coming home crying everyday. Care A lot even told daycare assistance that she had this lined up already. Not true, the cards fell where and when they needed to and was an answered prayer. Had this daycare been a good one, we would have never paid the extra money and enrollment fees to get them out of there! Im leaving this review because they do the bare minimum and the children suffer..also I was never allowed past the door when picking them up, new place is always clean and welcoming… if you love your kids, dont put them here!
