More than a year after pulling my children out of this daycare center, I still feel bad about them ever having been there. What I witnessed was yelling at children, inappropriate music, and not paying close attention to the needs of the little ones. I can say they do have convenient hours and will try to get you in at last minute, but if you are not desperate, don't go here.
Both of my sons attended the UPK program at Care-a-Lot, and we truly loved our experience there. The teachers and staff are incredibly friendly, caring, and dedicated to the kids. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and supported. Our sons also really enjoyed going there every day—they were always excited to share what they did and talk about their teachers and friends. The variety of activities they plan is impressive—not only fun but also meaningful for the children’s development. It’s clear that the staff genuinely care about each child, and that gave us so much peace of mind as parents. We are so grateful for the positive and nurturing environment Care-a-Lot provides. Highly recommend!
The staff there are very friendly. They have accommodated for my childrens food restrictions. Kids were always happy to go in the morning. When they saw something to be concerned about, the staff was prompt in letting us know. You can see how much the staff cares, in just the way we drop them off in the mornings. Whether the staff is a current teacher or not, they always try to interact with the kids. We have loved having both our kids there!
My daughter (11mos) did not make her teachers life easy. She sobbed all day, just wanting to go home. 6 weeks later, and a LOT of patience and love from staff, my daughter knows she's comfortable, safe, and happy when at daycare. She's exploring, playing with the other babies, and we've seen some great developments from her! We love the art we get and the picture updates make being away easier. The decision and process of getting her adjusted to daycare was HARD. And I firmly believe we picked the right place to help her (and us!) through it. :)
This daycare has been nothing, but great. My daughter was instantly welcomed by the staff and on her rough days, they have been very patient with her. She is always happy to go into daycare and has built trust with each member of their team.
