What Parents Say
Parents consistently praise Capital Kids for excellent childcare, strong kindergarten preparation, and caring staff. The facility is described as clean, well-organized, and affordable, with children showing significant academic and developmental progress. Multiple families report returning for summer camp programs.
Capital Kids Daycare/Preschool/Summer Camp has really exceeded my expectations! Every single individual who works there have been taking very good care and making sure both of my daughter and son are safe the last 2 years. All are superb with communication and are very informative with happy, positive attitudes. The facility is very clean and organized! The best part is that they really prep your child to succeed in Kindergarten! If you're looking for a good fit for your child(ren), I would absolutely recommend giving Capital Kids a phone call to set up a tour with them!
I enrolled my daughter and my nephew here. They loved attending the preschool and the summer program. Staff is very loving and attentive to the needs of each individual child. My daughter gained all the necessary skills and education. In fact I think the curriculum is considered a bit advanced making our kiddos fully prepared for Kindergarten. My nephew needed some extra attention due to developmental delays. And they were very understanding and supportive. It was clear after awhile that his needs were best cared for in a more specialized preschool for special needs. But they had such a great time and I have highly recommend them to anyone I know.
Capital Kids Daycare is a great preschool within Hamilton district. As a parent, I am proud because the care is excellent. I will recommend this preschool to family and friends. My son loves the playground. He's going back for summer camp. Awesome experience 😄😊.
Both of my children used you to go to Capital kids, the older one have aged out (but attend summer camp) and the younger child is still there. Words cannot express how much of a great daycare/ preschool this is; my older child have learned so much in the little time she spent there— and I truly wish they had grades 1 and above. And my 4 year old have also learned a lot, from improved vocabulary skills, increased curiosity , and even knowing some sight words and is trying to read at home. Just great curriculum, great teachers, great owner(s), words cannot express how much I’m thankful for Capital kids and not to mention it is very affordable.
The schools curriculum is great! Unfortunately, the handling of dealing with the kids developing personalities is very poor. With 2 weeks left, my child was expelled from the school after attending for almost 2yrs. Which seems very petty and unprofessional. It broke my 4 year old sons heart to know he wouldn’t be graduating with his friends. I was told my child should be evaluated which is understandable! But to offer that with only 2weeks left is absurd, he’s been attending capital since he was 3. If this was of any concern I’m sure it would been brought to our attention way before 2weeks of him graduating. Then to offer he goes to special needs program! With only 2weeks left of school is ridiculous! My son is pretty advanced for his age and has never had an issue with his cognitive abilities. Ms. Julie Made a comment to his mother stating “I know how it can be with being a single parent” and “she should allow Christ into her life”..is totally out of line. I know kids can be a handful at times! But I sit and speak with my son 1 on 1 and I allow for him to express himself so he can feel heard. I evaluate his feelings so I can better understand him as a person. One thing I can say is Kids don’t lie, all they know is play! Giving his mother and ultimatum to evaluate our son or he will be expelled with 2weeks left is very distasteful and assuming she’s a single parent and assuming whether she’s a Christian to warrant prejudice is unconstitutional and disgraceful to being a true Christian. In conclusion please don’t send your kids here I would hate for any parent to go through such an experience.
