Candy Cane City Nursery School

I recently had a disappointing experience with Candy Cane Learning Center, which I had high hopes for, but unfortunately, it fell far short of reasonable expectations. The facilities needed to be updated and better maintained. The Staff seemed disinterested and unengaged with the children, and there needed to be more structure and routine. I was also concerned about the cleanliness of the facility, as it often appeared unkempt. I would not recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a quality childcare experience. The Staff could use additional training; Teachers play a pivotal role in educating our future leaders, and it's not a Job for those with low ambition or care for our children's future. Often, we would arrive at Candy Cane to staff members screaming at kids due to a lack of knowledge or patience when it comes to children; it seems as if there is a check-the-box system put in place with no care for growth. The teachers would give our child Zero explanations or expectations about class work or homework. I'll repeat it: THIS PLACE JUST ABOUT CHECKING BOXES. The minimum state requirement is their slogan. Overall, the director has a great heart but no support from the Owners or Staff members. Hopefully, if you are reading this, you care about your child's Growth and Future in the category of education and development outside the home. Here is my honest opinion: RUN...

I love this school. My two children attended Candy Cane for 5 years. The staff is loving and goes above and beyond to take care of every student. My children learned how to read and tie their shoes. Every staff member makes you feel like you're a part of the family. Candy Cane is the best!

I would first like to say that I myself love and adore Candy Cane City. They are a great establishment, I currently have a 6 year old that's in the before and aftercare program and I also have a 3 year old that is in Ms. Andrea class. My 3 year is learning and thriving. My 3 year old can verbally spell her name, recognize letters, shapes, numbers and colors. Both of my kids are excited and wants to go to Candy Cane. This is not just a daycare, but they treat you and your little people like you are family. I couldn't have asked for a better daycare!

After touring a dozen daycares in the area and not feeling good about any of them, I visited Candy Cane City and Toshia made me feel very welcome. My son has been going here for the past year and I've never had a problem. Toshia and Gloria, the administrators have always been very friendly and professional. Vanessa and Kelsi are two of my favorites in the staff, they are always so helpful at drop off and genuinely care about the kids. Very glad I found this place. My son has now started Pre K & his teachers Ms Render & Ms Bond are also amazing. He's also learning so much, more than is expected at a Pre K level. So happy to have him there 💕

Candy Cane City is highly recommended. The staff is AWESOME!! They care and show love to each child indvidually. While my son was there he received in house speech therapy. Which he showed tremendous improvement after a small time period. He rarely got sick Candy Cane was thoroughly cleaned EVERYDAY. We created many memories with CCC and they have a special place in our hearts !
