We chose Special Beginnings back in 2021 because of their flexibility (our children attend part-time), faith-based approach, and high recommendation from a friend. We have had an excellent experience. I have been pleased with all of my children's teachers throughout the years, and feel it is a daycare that is responsibly managed, community focused and kind. We love the new electronic Procare system that makes it easy to communicate with teachers and see what my littles are up to throughout the day! We also enjoy the predominantly organic meals, "Water Play" days during the summer, easy communication with teachers and staff, honoring of Christian holidays, engaged teachers, curriculum, and all the fun community events held throughout the year. We are grateful for the dependable quality care provided by SB throughout the years.
Dropping our sweet girl at daycare is, by far, the toughest part of my morning. What makes it tolerable is a wonderful lady named Miss Melissa who is Rory's BFF times a million. When she sees Miss Melissa (or even hears her voice) I might as well not even be in the room. Thanks to Special Beginnings Early Learning Center for hiring people like Miss Melissa who make all the difference in our daughter's world. And for people like Miss Ashley, who are on top of everything and never leave me questioning for a second if my daughter is loved and cared for while I'm at work.
My kids love it here. The staff is great. Can be a challenge to get a spot. Somehow by the grace of God we got both our kiddos here. The outdoor play area is great too. I love the location, close to home and relatively easy to jump on the highway off Quivira and 435.
Special Beginnings is a special place and that's only possible because of the people inside those walls! We currently have 1 attending full day daycare and 1 attending after school care. They both attend the summer program/camp and the girls enjoy the many summer activities along with the friendships! I can guarantee that anyone would be hard pressed to find a daycare with more caring and loving instructors! Thanks for everything "SB!"
I have been trying to reach this center for the past 2 weeks. I've left voicemails for the director and assistant director and no one has called me back. I'm just trying to enroll my child here for august. I've submitted the form they have on their website too and nothing. The one time someone did answer, she told me I needed to call back when the director was there since she's the only one that knows about enrollment. Very disappointed. This center is so close to me and would've loved to use them... if they ever answered or returned my calls.
