If you pick the right days, the price can be very affordable. Our stay included two water park admissions with the room, and our baby was free, which made it a great economical choice for our family. The property is very large and offers so many different activities for all ages. Our baby absolutely loved the toddler pool area! The rooms were very nice, a bit dated, but still comfortable and clean. My only small complaint is that the water park area could have been warmer. A few of my friends’ babies were so cold they were turning purple. That said, the kids still had the time of their lives. Overall, we had an awesome experience and will definitely be back again for our little one!

This was our 4th trip to Great Wolf Lodge with our 2 younger children - ages 9 and 11. Each time my kids have had a blast and it has been pleasant for us. This time was tougher. We got there around lunch to see 4 school busses and an absolutely packed parking lot. We could barely move inside as it seemed they massively oversold the day passes, with an entire high school graduating class there. 150+ students. We paid a lot of money to stay at the resort and couldn’t fully enjoy the activities with all the day pass people everywhere. Luckily, the day pass people left around 6, so we could actually move around the water park and the next morning the crowd was much lighter. While I understand this a business trying to make money, it felt like the highest paying customers (ones staying overnight, buying extra passes, food, gifts etc) were an afterthought to the day pass customers. My kids still had fun, and the second day was better, but I am not sure I want to come back if the guest pass policy is not looked at more fully. It was also disappointing to pay for parking in a lot the resort owns.

Fun place. Smaller than others we have been too. Staff is hit or miss on experience. Some are amazing and some are just getting a paycheck. Which is fine, just based off the other locations, where everyone went above and beyond and was just super friendly. Location is put there with not much around, but the lodge does do a great job with restaurants and extra activities. Just be prepared to pay for a nicer dinner. Convenience would be a 5. Room seemed thrown together with chunks of others hair it it. But kids absolutely loved it. So you take your pick. Would we go again, maybe.

Overall it was a great time! The rooms were clean & staff was very friendly. However, the kids bunk beds were uncomfortable & the toilet handle has to be held down to flush. The waterpark was a lot of fun but I think a day of it is plenty. All the other activities I would say are geared towards kids 10 & under. The gift shop & resturant prices are outrageous so we ate outside the hotel for every meal to save $. If you can go during the winter months or times when they offer big savings I'd say it's worth it.

The water park is still a good experience for kids, but the resort standards have plummeted. This was our 3rd trip to this location since it opened, and it will likely be our last. For a resort that charges a premium for "one night of magic," the actual stay was a massive disappointment. 1. Poor Room Cleanliness: We were shocked by the state of our room. We found hair from a previous guest on the pillow—an immediate red flag for hygiene. Beyond that, there was a thick layer of dust on the bed frame and nightstands. The edges of the sleeper sofa were filthy and clearly hadn't been cleaned in a long time. I have attached photos to show exactly what $500+ a night gets you here. 2. The $20 Parking "Cash Grab": Having visited in 2023, I was frustrated to find they are now charging $20 for parking in a lot they actually own. Between the high room rates and the mandatory resort fees, hitting guests with an extra parking charge feels like a blatant nickel-and-diming tactic. 3. Declining Value: When you pay this much, you expect a clean room and fair treatment as a returning guest. Instead, we felt like we were paying more for much less. Advice to parents: The water park is great, but inspect your beds and surfaces immediately upon check-in. The cleaning standards are simply not what they used to be.
