My husband and I hosted a birthday party at Camelot Kids for our 2-year-old daughter. The staff was so nice and welcoming. They helped us set up before the event and clean up after. During, they also checked in with us and asked if we wanted help using the speakers or turning on the bubble machine. The venue itself was very cute. The playground was spacious, and the kids enjoyed every nook and cranny. The other parents were also happy with the location and everyone had a fun time.
We had high expectations, but the dramatic staff turnover was really tough for our little guy's first preschool experience. They lost 5-6 staff in the Little Knights program in one school year (2024-2025), which made it difficult for our kiddo to bond or form relationships with trusted adults. The high turnover and at least one unprofessional email from admin made me concerned about the treatment of staff behind the scenes, and we ultimately didn't feel good about spending our money here. We now ask about staff tenure as part of our vetting process for schools and have had no trouble finding preschools with staff retention of many years.
I've had a disappointing experience with this school, primarily due to unprofessional behavior from certain staff members, notably Mimi. Additionally, the constant turnover of teachers is unsettling. My child has struggled to form any meaningful connections with educators due to their frequent changes, which disrupts the learning environment.
