Probably the cleanest pet facility I have ever been to . My dogs love it. They know every puppy by name and every dog is happy to arrive ! Lots of playing , great communication, and the facility is aesthetically pleasing. So impressive , I won't be taking my dogs elsewhere ! I had peace of mind while I was away .

K9 Bethlehem is a wonderful place when you can’t take your fur baby with you. It’s clear they truly love dogs, and the staff is genuinely invested in providing a home away from home. Our pup runs into the building every time, and as soon as we open the door, everyone knows her by name and is excited to see her. The staff’s enthusiasm makes it obvious how much they care. The online check-in process before the day of drop-off also helps ease the morning rush and stress. We couldn’t ask for a better place- K9 Bethlehem is truly wonderful.

I'll start from the beginning. My husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary, and to commemorate it, we booked a trip. However, we have a dog, a German Spitz, who is the love of our lives, our son. So, my husband and I started thinking about what we were going to do since the hotel didn't accept dogs. That's when I had a great idea: let's go to a resort for just one day. Let's leave Magic at a dog resort, no matter the price; we were willing to pay as long as he wasn't alone and was treated very well. I saw this place and looked at its appearance, and at first glance, it seemed super professional. So, I decided to leave my dog there for just one night. That's when my BIGGEST NIGHTMARE began. We left the love of our lives there on a Wednesday around six in the evening. The manager was very clear with us when she said, "You can call us ANYTIME, THERE WILL ALWAYS BE SOMEONE HERE TO LOOK AFTER YOUR DOG." When we arrived at our destination, I decided to call them, and I called over 50 times and absolutely no one answered. I panicked and wanted to call the police, but my husband wouldn't let me. We both panicked. When we finally got someone to check on the place, we discovered that at night the dogs are completely alone and locked in something they call a room—it's the same as locking your dog alone in the dark at night in a slightly larger cage. That said, if your dog gets sick, defecates, urinates, or runs out of water or food, they come back at seven in the morning for their shift, clean everything, and make it look beautiful again for the owners who pick up their dogs the next day. And since no one was there, no one could answer my calls. In other words, besides being a place where, in my opinion, the conditions in which the animals are left alone at night constitute animal abuse, we also have a manager who lies to us. Customers say that there will always be someone there you can call at any time. And to top it all off, I asked in the morning when they attended to me if they could take my dog home because I didn't want him to stay there another minute, because I paid for everything, the most expensive kind, and that was supposed to be included if I needed it, that's what they told me to sell me on it, right? Because the receptionist asked the owners directly, at least that's what she said, and the answer I got was, "We can't do anything for you, our insurance doesn't cover taking him home unless there's a serious emergency." So the problem isn't just with the employees, it's with the owner and the entire management. My dog has been in my arms since he was born. He had NEVER slept alone at night before; he's super sensitive. He sleeps in my bed. When I picked him up, his ears were back because he was so scared, and he wasn't the same. He's always been an energetic and happy dog, but now he's sad and afraid of everything. We're taking our time to recover from the trauma, both of us, but you don't need to go through what I went through. I've never written a review for any company, but I took the time to write this review. So, if you love your dog, please DO NOT LEAVE HIM AT THE K9 RESORT HOTEL IN BETHLEHEM. I know it looks nice, I know people talk nicely, I know it seems professional, but when nobody is there to see, your dog is surely suffering and crying in fear. Note: I don't want the company's false excuses and comments in my review; I'm just warning people not to go through the same absurdity and trauma I did. The owner says we were told the dogs would be left alone, but that’s a lie. The MANAGER clearly told me my dog would be with staff 24/7. This company always makes things up — their comment is a joke. I have proof: I was recording everything to post on social media at that exact moment, so their lies don’t work this time. The dogs aren’t even monitored by cameras, because they don’t answer the phone. If they were really watching cameras and phones, why don’t they pick up? Hahaha They’re a joke, starting with the owner. We’re warning everyone, with proof. **** We knew they’d reply with lies.

Our doxie/beagle mix has been boarding at K9 in Bethlehem on several occasions, including during a very long trip. She was very hesitant at first, however, the entire staff was very patient and loving. I cannot give a more glowing review for the incredible staff and owners at K9! At the beginning of her stay, our sweet girl developed a UTI (she’s prone to them) and the staff and owners fully communicated with me on her care immediately. She received top notch medical care and post-care back at K9. If you need a very clean, reliable and caring dog boarding facility, K9 is a stellar choice!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about this dog care facility. From day one, the staff has consistently been pleasant, attentive, and genuinely caring. We board our dog here for any planned time away and use their daycare! What truly set them apart was how they stepped up during a time of need for our family, without hesitation, they were there to help and lovingly watch our dog, Richard. Their compassion, reliability, and professionalism gave us complete peace of mind during a stressful time. It’s clear that they treat every dog as if it were their own. We are incredibly grateful for their support and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring place for their pet!
