Cambridge Children'S Academy

I have been in the center 5 years plus. It's always clean and the Director is available and always polite. I received a call last week on a funny rash my child had. I was just thinking it was going to go away, but thank God they have a nurse on staff that thought It should be looked at. I went to the pediatrician and nipped it in the bud before it was going to get worse. Thank You! I saw a review that this was a fake post about a nurse on-site. Ms. Susan, who I saw, is a staff member and teacher in the Pre-K classroom, is a registered Nurse.

Rated it as very good because frankly it is. Let's be honest, no center is perfect, even the most expensive programs. At what cost are you willing to pay for it? Cambridge does the best possible job at the price point. Parents always have champagne tastes on dollar menu budgets, naturally, so its a balance. The question is "Is Cambridge better for your child than the bargain basement mom-n-pop daycares?" Absolutely. Staff is a mix of young and older teachers. Curriculum is well-done and meets/exceeds what your child will get at the big corporate daycares. Go ahead, compare, and you’ll agree with me. My daughter has been there for a couple years, loves the teachers, loves the other kids. She's been potty trained, loves books, plays well with others. Music program, arts, petting zoos, outdoor activities all are done well. For previous reviews: Unfortunately at any center if a parent has a DFS issue, then of course they’ll visit the center if someone witnessed the parent's behavior or has some relevant facts, but that’s not a DFS issue with the center. They’re very strict these days so they’d close the place down if there were.

I have no idea where the two poor reviews on this site came from. Cambridge has been WONDERFUL for our son. The teachers and staff are incredibly friendly/helpful, and they go way out of their way to work with changing schedules, etc. My son loves it here. Great mix of affordability and quality. Would highly recommend.

If you have a job & put your children in this daycare, be prepared to get fired because they send your children home for every little thing like a runny nose. I would NEVER recommend this daycare to anyone! They will send your child home ATLEAST once a week, if not more. Very poor service! It seems as though the care givers do not like to do their job & look for every reason to get your child out of there, even if you have to leave work!

We experienced the worst experience in that school. That particular teacher didn’t show care and love on my son. My son didn’t like to go to that school because of her approach. So we stopped him from that school and Later he was good and enjoyed going to school.
