The review won’t stay up. This isn’t a demonic attack , it’s not easy for me to do that. I am only doing this in hopes of waking up a very sleepy Baptist church. I left my Baptist church of 30 years to seek out a new one for me and my daughter. I wanted to be a part of community of people who want fellowship and growth. Upon my visit the church was very quiet and rather empty. Most member being in the late 60s +. There weren’t any pamphlets or any kind with information about the service or how it operates . Starts and ends ect. If there was you have to look for it. No info on groups , child care and such. Took a lot of searching. Since I have a 6 year old daughter, I decided to walk around and find the kids area to see what it was like. Was warmly greeted by what seemed like a long time member. When asked about the child care situation. He had little to no information. We were then joined by another gentleman who was nice, told me alittle more . Talked about the classs, he’s involved in. He invite me to check it out but couldn’t tell me the name of it or really it’s purpose. Church service was ok. They mentioned they needed help moving chairs on two upcoming weekends and to make sure snd find the sign in sheets in the small groups. I figured this would be a chance to meet people within the church and see how well the fellowship was. So following the service I did as instructed. After some time walking around, found a kind member (someone who is directly involved with a small group) and asked about the sign in sheets and he of course had no idea what I was talking about. Once we found the sheet. I left my info. Never got a call. This is why I left my Baptist church of 30years because it was a dying church. I don’t intend to leave this review up , but I hope someone there sees this and takes a bigger hand in guiding their visiting members closer to God and closer to their fellowship. It seems to me , a outsider, that there’s a lot of complacency here and it’s fellowship for the few. Nobody knows anything. Be blessed
This is my church, here’s my honest opinion. The church could use a little love, but the people there will welcome you warmly. We have no elders but we make it work. We want people to come and see God work, and we most of all want to introduce Jesus. We are active, and most of the members are very loyal.
Had so much fun at a concert here.
I have not ever been to church here. Though, we have done their Upward Soccer Program for many years. This has been an awesome experience for both of my children. They do a great job of showing the children how to play soccer in a good Christian environment. They are very friendly and go above beyond to make it a fantastic experience for the children. I would recommend this to anyone who would like to have their children play soccer in a Christian friendly environment.
Went to see Mathew West and Cochran &Co
