The church has had renovation done since my last visit and it's so light and airy. Speaker today was wonderfully inspiring. My waffle breakfast was chefs kiss but if I could meet the person responsible for the homemade caramel sauce!!! Best ever.

Great Place If You’re Looking For A Church Family

A must-visit during the Lenten season when the church hosts a lecture series and the “Waffle Shop,” where the public is invited to lunch communally in the church basement (enter from rear parking lot) and sample all manner of homemade Southern church fare. Fill out your orders on little slips of paper and hand them to the volunteer servers. A true Memphis springtime experience.

It's a beautiful building, but the people are even more beautiful. All are welcome. Wonderful ministries to the unhoused population.
