I love the service this church family provides. I want it to become my church home if I can ever transfer my job from the Bay Area to Sacramento. Until then I will stay committed to attending online. I ask that you all to please pray for me to become more of a doer though after receiving and listening to the word of God.
I have been going to CCC for I do not know how long but I do know that when i came in the words of Pastor I was tore up from the floor up, full of anger, depression, hate for people, mistrust and just not wanting to even be here any more, my sister invited me to church one day and I came and have been here ever since. God knew me and he knew I would need a man of God like Pastor who would be able to speak to me from God and get me on the right track. I being in church as my grandmother made sure we went every Sunday to a Methodist Church, I never wanted anything to do with God and did not even believe he loved me assumed because of what I had gone through he was angry at me, but my sister kept speaking to me about God and I relocated with my kids and accepted her invitation to Calvary and it was a true life changer, I learned who Jesus was and what he had done for me and how much God loved me and I thank God for a man and woman of God that actually walks it like they talk it. I thank God daily for this Ministry and this Pastor and most importantly them bring me the truth of Jesus and the love of God, my children grew up here and my grandchildren grew up here, is it a perfect church but there is not one as there is not a perfect church. but it is as close as it can get.
I absolutely love Calvary Christian Center in Sacramento! Every time I walk in, I feel so welcomed and cared for. The pastors, the worship, and the entire community are amazing. It’s truly a wonderful church for families and a blessing to our community. I love coming here!
I have attended twice and walk by regularly, the parishioners I have encountered have been rude, unfriendly, and frankly not showing Christian traits. How unfortunate for our community. The shining stars are the food bank folks on Tuesdays. Questionable contents, not worth the wait.
I really enjoy the 11:30 service and I am a senior but Phillip Jr is a delight. I like the way he minister the word without being tense. I advise all young people to come n be blessed. My daughter came who needed to really be engulfed in the word in a manner that was designed for young people and pastor Philip Jr delivered. Thank you May the blessings never stop coming to him and his family
