I could not care less about pastor terry’s political views, yet I can’t understand why he feels its appropriate to openly support Donald Trump and ICE agents while a majority of rialto residents are hispanic. There truly is no hatred like Christian “love”. At times the sermons are very brutal. Rather than be forgiving and trying to teach people, you are judged for who you are as a person. Something that only God should do, not some right wing pastor. If you seek solace, kindness, and love then this church is not for you.
This Church is amazing. The order here is amazing and I appreciate the way pastor Terry teaches the Word with notes and everything. Worship team sings beautifully and the childcare is awesome. I’ve went up for prayer twice now and I’m so thankful for those that serve in that area as well. I have been coming here since I was 9 years old on and off and this Church is very dear to my heart. I leave there with new insight and am very greatful for it all. Even the cafe and bookstore!
I have nothing bad to say about this church but that the pastors are great with helping you, they teach you to understand the Bible that other churches didn't for me. Also i like that the church offers counseling, it's helped me over the years. Also the community that goes to the church as well are very inviting and nice people. My daughters lived it here. This church helped us alot during hard times, even though I haven't gone to the church because I moved but I still watch their service Wednesdays and Sunday's.
Not a welcoming church. Churches like this is why people pull away from faith, why people don’t feel comfortable going to church, and give Christian’s a bad name. I’m in disbelief that a church is this unwelcoming to new comers. Very disappointing because the pastor teaches well but the volunteers are very rude and the greeters are some of the most rude people I’ve ever encountered!
Young adult group was full of kind young people. My boyfriend and I attended for a couple months as well for the Sunday worship. It all went downhill after I arranged a meeting with one of the pastors. He immediately judged me for my hair color and not being married. He said that he has never gone through hardship since he has always been in the church and could not relate to any of my struggles of losing my mom. On top of that he also said I should not come back to his church unless I wanted to align with the rest of the congregations views which I did not realize liked to judge a person by how they looked. Very hateful practices and I will continue to pray for that man and the poor people he tries to give "advice" to.
