Calvary Chapel Preschool Spring Valley

We love this Church we started going every Sunday when we discovered this but, Been sad of what happened earlier. this Church is too sensitive of small noise from children. Earlier we were ask to go to the other room even thou my kids and some of other kids are not making any noise because prayer is about to start. What’s the purpose of bringing your family to church if very small kids noise are not allowed in the worship center. We walked out. They should have put a sign no children allowed. 😔

I am not historically a very religious person. I started going here after my daughter started to attend. I go every week now. I really like the energy and I always leave feeling good.

I miss attending this church due to covid but I’m glad we were able to attend Sunrise Service this Easter Sunday. I’ve always attended a Calvary Chapel Church since Downey California back in 2003. This particular Chapel is also amazing. Pastor Derek is a blessing to us and this church. I highly recommend this place for your spiritual journey. I pray you find the real love, joy and peace that only comes from having Jesus Christ.

The leadership at this church are doing some incredible things and focus on what scripture calls us to do versus what other modern churches are doing. Pastor Derek is a compassionate speaker who isn’t afraid to teach the congregation as pupils of the Word or God. Leadership here are humble and encourage us to work for the glory of the kingdom of heaven and regard themselves as called on in the same way each of us in the congregation are. Aside from that awesomeness, the praise & worship team is truly incredible. The Holy Spirit is present with them and poured out among all of us as we gather in praise & worship. I’ve never been happier and have visited many non-denominational churches in Las Vegas. I’ve finally found my home! Please consider this church as you made decisions and search for your church home!

We love Awaken church and Pastor Derek. Unfortunately, we had to stop going because of an issue in our 3 year olds Sunday school class. There is always a teenage boy there helping out, which my husband and I find to be completely inappropriate for a toddler program. We were not comfortable with it at all, but the final straw was when my husband heard him ask one of the children if they needed to use the restroom. We are unsure if he is taking children to use the restroom by himself or what. A teenage boy in a toddler program is completely inappropriate. He is probably a nice boy and probably won’t do anything to the kids, but we can’t go by probably, we need to be smart. If you choose to go to this church and you have a toddler, be very cautious about the Sunday school program. Bad judgement on Awakens part.
