California Kids Centers

I am so grateful for **The California Kids** in Santa Ana. My son has been attending for before- and after-school care, and it has truly been a blessing for our family. One of the biggest advantages has been their morning school drop-off and afternoon pick-up service, which has made our daily routine so much easier. The staff genuinely care for the children as if they were their own. They are kind, nurturing, and attentive. It’s not easy to find a place you can fully trust with your child, but I have complete peace of mind here. My son has attended since TK, and I have even shared with the owner, Cathy, that bringing my son here for care feels just like taking him to Grandma’s house. That’s how comfortable and confident I feel leaving him in their care. He’s able to complete his homework, and if he’s feeling overstimulated or cranky, they allow him to rest or take a nap when needed. I highly recommend The California Kids to any parent looking for dependable, loving, and supportive child care.

My child has been attending this daycare center since they were in Kinder. They are now in middle school. The staff & owner are all amazing. They have great teachers who care and are attentive. They communicate well. The big plus for this center is that they offer school drop off and pick up. This has been such a huge help for me so that I can get to work on time and not worry about being late to pick up my kid. I highly recommend this daycare center. Pricing is reasonable.

Do not send your kids here unless you want non certified teachers and a daycare not up to code for safety. All teachers are always on there phones all day. Your kids aren't taught continuously and are sat in front of a TV instead of doing actual school related activities. This goes for toddlers and the after school kids. The after school kids hardly get snacks and watch TV all afternoon till they are picked up. Victoria the toddler teacher is NOT certified or have teaching credentials but has a whole toddler class to herself. I've witnessed this sorry excuse of a teacher (Victoria) snatch a kid up for not standing in line, she physically flung this kid around like a rag doll and yelled at him almost nose to nose. This place needs to be closed asap!
