Worst healthcare experience I've ever had. I came here after having a 4 day sickness that was getting worse. I was light sensitive, nauseous, aching all over, had severe headaches, and was alternating between intense sweats and violent shaking from a fever. I was unable to sleep more than 20 minutes at a time, and was becoming delirious. I had been to Urgent Care 2 days prior but was feeling worse. They had tested me for many things, all of which came back negative. Upon checking in to Dignity Healthy, I let them know about all of this, as well as the fact that I was taking acetaminophen and ibuprofen for pain relief, and melatonin to try to sleep, but none of it was proving effective. They stuck me in a crowded, freezing waiting room with extremely uncomfortable chairs that I couldn't recline in. I was stuck waiting for 2 hours, then I finally spoke to a med student. The doctor herself finally showed up and told me they were going to test me for...HIV. I knew I didn't have it, but acquiesced. Big mistake. Not only was I stuck for 3 more hours waiting for the results, but I was completely ignored by the staff while doing so. When the HIV test came back unsurprisingly negative, no further tests were ordered, and I wad issued a "prescription" for...Acetaminophen, Ibuprofen, and Melatonin. Aka the same 3 OTC drugs that I had already been taking, were not working, and do not require any prescription (let alone wasting half a day in the ER.) I argued with my Dr., but she refused to issue anything stronger. The whole thing was a colossal waste of time, exacerbated my condition, was frankly insulting, and the only actual "treatment" I received in 6 hours came from a helpful nurse. This place is so actively hostile to patients it's as if they have no actual interest in helping anyone. Go literally anywhere else, do not subject yourself to this place. There is no dignity to be found for you here.

I am doing two reviews for two different days, two different parts of the hospital, security guards. First encounter was the Emergency Room guards. I am a 65 year old, disabled, white woman as my profile photo indicates. My chronic pain due to degerative bone loss osteoporosis, rhemtoid arthritis, severe arthritis and neuropathy of bilateral arms....I can't give a visual of these things. I have been thru too much trauma and loss being thrown into homelessbess wrongfully when I was suffering a double-fracruted back. Sorry to make this long, but I must before someone unfairly pegs me as a "Karen". I am now after 3 yrs of traumatic survival with what homelessness be for anyone. Being an OLDER, DISABLED, SINGLE, WHITE WOMAN, automatically makes me and my possessions a target for the undesirables of ALL skin colors to target me. I have lost every thing I worked for and owned. It's beyond hideous and disgusting what others do every single day. So, I live very close to this hospital campus. In my disability add COPD. Yesterday, while taking care of my neighbor and the need go to Emergency, I walked there first with her. I has to leave to get something from apartment which is a 3-5 min. walk. In the day, I walk. After dark, I ride my scooter everywhere when my need to get to a important destination. I live in downtown Los Angeles. The guard was very approachable in demeanor and showed me respect in not cutting me off when I greeted them. All went well. It was daylight upon arrival, I had walked as I said. In the interim, I walked back and grabbed and road scooter back and locked it out side where there was a bike rack right where I could keep an eye on it and have rapid exit should I need it. Again, I left and returned, repeat securing outside, but is dark on my return. When dark, "Creepers" populate DTLA & other cities that have issues that are the reason for help with criminal and severe mental people who roam and prey in higher count after dark. Now with my setting the stage for my complaint: I returned to ER, locked up, (new guard), I sat down and it wasn't 5 min., my scooter was being scoped out. I as rapid as this body allowed, I was on it to stand near my scooter until that person got hint about me & left. Long story short, I asked the guard if I could lock scooter immediately inside the entrance door. He said it was okay. I finally was able to relax. I had 2 brand new scooters stolen within a year and I am very protective now. Thank you the security guys in ER on 2/22. Read next Review...

I love love love the new facility. Checking in was smooth and easy. The large waiting room is comfy which makes the wait time not so bad. I was there twice last month for two different issues. One was more urgent than the other. The only difference in service was the wait time. Outside of that, both visits were STELLAR!!!!! Awesome staff from the nurses, doctors, pa’s, lay persons, etc.

I’m reviewing a bit late, but I really wanted to share because my experience was truly amazing. I gave birth in July 2024 and had no problems at all. Everyone was wonderful — every nurse was incredibly kind and genuinely caring. The doctor who delivered my baby was also amazing and made me feel very safe and supported throughout the delivery. I had no issues with the epidural, and they made sure I had everything I needed to stay comfortable and pain-free. It was honestly such a great experience for my first baby delivery. If I have another baby, I hope it’s just as wonderful as this one.

It was okay. I recall having a burst appendix and had to wait. Also the nurse who tried to put a needle in my arm failed to do so and moved it around in there..... I hope she improved. Honestly the care was good once I was seen. I stayed there for a few days but the people staying there were absolutely horrible to be around. Screaming in the middle of the night. and a few things I can't recall anymore. (My stay was during the time MJ died.) I hope the place has improved, because it was a nice location.... also the doctor got mad at me because I wanted to walk to the hospital instead of taking the ambulance.
