Cadence Academy Preschool

I just wanted to take a moment to share how much I truly love my kids’ daycare. We’ve seen such an incredible, positive change over the past few months, and it honestly means so much to our family. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and focused on the kids in all the right ways. The director is absolutely amazing. You can tell she genuinely cares about every single child and always has their best interests at heart. Her leadership, dedication, and hands-on involvement have made such a difference, and it really shows in how happy and comfortable the kids are each day. As a parent, it gives me so much peace of mind knowing my children are in a place where they are loved, supported, and truly cared for. I couldn’t be more grateful for this daycare and the incredible people who run it.

I wanted to take time out of my day to show appreciation to the new director Ms.Miciah! Ever since bringing her on the team this location has only gotten better. She is super attentive, nice, caring and communicative. Not only does she listen, she genuinely cares and find solutions to problems. There has not been one time I have gone to her where she didn’t find a solution to my problem nor has she ever dismissed me with my parental concerns. I’m so happy this Location is taking a turn in terms of staff and care!

I am so grateful for the staff at coastal Academy! My son attends this preschool and he has learned so much. It’s very impressive when he comes home and I see what he’s learned. I also am most impressed with the staff, including the teachers and the management. They are so nurturing and caring, which is what children at a young age really need. The school always looks beautiful. It’s always clean and decorated and they always have fun activities for the kids.

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism shown by the daycare director. On multiple occasions, her behavior has been rude and dismissive toward parents, which is concerning and unacceptable in a childcare setting. What makes this even more frustrating is that the teachers themselves are responsible, caring, and genuinely supportive. They clearly care about the children and do their jobs well. Unfortunately, the director is the complete opposite. In addition, there are repeated violations of DSS rules during morning drop-off. These issues occur regularly and raise serious concerns about compliance, safety, and leadership. When concerns are raised, they are not handled in a professional or respectful manner. Parents deserve a childcare environment where leadership models professionalism and follows regulations. Sadly, that has not been my experience here.

We love it here! The whole staff is so wonderful and caring! They have been a blessing to our family. My son has just grown so much just by being here. He is just blossoming and is so happy. They do so many crafts, circle time, planned events, planned activities, and lots of outdoor time and fun. They really treat it like it is school and he is definitely learning and developing so much. I just can’t say enough about them! We have felt welcomed and like family since we started. I have such a peace of mind and am so proud to have my son be a part of Cadence academy!
