Cadence Academy Preschool

We’ve had such a wonderful experience here. Every staff member we’ve interacted with has been incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming. When my son moved into a new room I was so anxious about how he would adjust, but his teacher and the director went above and beyond by sending updates throughout the day. That thoughtfulness meant the world to me and gave me such peace of mind while I was at work. Every morning we’re greeted with a smile and a kind hello which sets such a positive tone. The kindness and care of the staff have made all the difference, and I couldn’t be happier with our experience.

We have had our 2 children in Cadence for over a year and a half and within that time have had a great experience. We had a rough adjustment with our then 18 month old when he started as he had never been enrolled in daycare before. During those first few weeks I received daily updates and calls to help ease the transition. Anytime I have had a concern or question Kristen or Stephanie have been quick to respond not only with empathy but with action. Every teacher we have had has shown our kids love and respect and truly has made this a wonderful experience. Our youngest struggled with his speech when he began and quickly improved within the first 6 months due to the hands on learning provided. Our oldest is fully equipped for Kindergarten this fall after a great experience with Kindergarten Club the last 6 months! We recommend Cadence to anyone we know looking for quality care in the area.

Cadence Academy is the best fit for our family. We love the diverse and loving atmosphere created for our son. The teachers and staff have made a huge impact on the development of our sons intellect and character. Since attending Cadence, we have been given a peace of mind knowing our values are being reinforced when we are not around. It’s a great school to allow your child to continue to grow and develop. After 7 years of going here, this place has completely changed and I don’t recognize it anymore and want to warn all future parents, DO NOT ENROLL your children here. Pretty words on what their vision is versus actions taken when you start paying are two completely different realities. Do not get fooled. While there are some lovely staff still left, they do not have the control. The overall decisions are made by a corporate entity who does not care about the impact they cause to parents or children. They have proven over and over to be an unreliable and uncaring option for child care with the decisions and impact they cause to the parents and ultimately children. Greed of accepting too many children without having the appropriate amount of staff to care for them has led to surprises at drop off of getting turned away at the door because they’re at capacity, leaving parents with no childcare, surprise schedule changes, surprise closures, begging parents the day of to not bring their kids bc they don’t have the staff to support them, all while still withdrawing your payment for the week. That process is never interrupted. Additionally, the education has tanked in the last 6 months. My son is not at all prepared for kindergarten and he begins this fall. The curriculum changed when the corporate entity stepped in and ever since then he has completely back slid, coupled with the fact they overfill the rooms, many times with all ages, resulting in a daycare setting versus preparing kids for school. I’ve expressed all of these concerns and nothing has changed, the same things keep happening, so it’s clear this is the new direction of Cadence Academy and I want others to be warned.

I can’t even express what Cadence Academy means to our family without going on and on for hours. They’re staff has overwhelmingly won my husband and myself over. We couldn’t feel more comfortable leaving our little boy in their highly capable hands every weekday. Every member of the staff knows our little boy, who has been in their school since he was 9 weeks old (1.5 years now) by name and greets him with extreme enthusiasm anytime they see him. All of his teachers have a special bond with him that I could have never imagined possible. The KidsReport app is an amazing tool we use throughout the day to track how our son’s day is going from meals, to learning activities, nap time to diaper changes. We are able to see photos of him playing with his classmates and engaging in fundamental learning activities (on average 8-10 photos per day on the app). As parents of a first child, we did lots of research and visited over half a dozen schools before settling in Cadence Academy 2. We immediately felt at home in their school and we have been thrilled with our decision ever since!! If you’re considering Cadence Academy 2 for your child, I will tell you, make this decision!!!! You won’t regret it, ever!!! Also... when my child had a doctors appointment because he was sick, we received 2 calls and a text message from 2 different teachers who just wanted to check on him to make sure he was alright!!! How much more could you ask for?!? They LOVE their kids!!!!!!
