Cadence Academy Preschool

Denise and Christina do an amazing job of working with you and doing the best to support your little one. My son started when he was 1 so we were worried since at the age they cant directly tell you how their day is going. But the directors and all the teachers and staff put in effort to be transparent and thoughtful to make sure he was having a great experience. They helped him with animals, and shapes, and colors, and did fun crafts that we got to take home. The teachers especially his current ones Mrs. Alyana and Mrs. Dorthy have welcomed our son and made him feel at home. The patience and grace they give their students is remarkable and I believe every parent should look to Cadence for their preschool and child care needs.

As a first time mom, deciding on the best daycare for my daughter was a very difficult decision. When touring Cadence, each person I interacted with had a kind and calm demeanor and was willing to answer all of my many questions. My daughter currently attends and her teachers have done the best job helping her transition to daycare. I can tell how much they genuinely care for her, and she has learned so much in her short time there. She has formed a bond with her teachers and has made many friends with the other students in her class. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Ms. Centria, Ms. Whitley, and Ms. Amber. They are so sweet and comforting to my daughter and she always feels safe with them. They are very hands on with the children and nurturing. We love Cadence!

Cadence Academy I is home away from home for my daughter. The curriculum and learning environment are inclusive for all children due to a strong, professional, responsible, loving and caring, and dependable faculty. Lorrie, director, and Denise, assistant director, are phenomenal! They not only love and care for the children but also their faculty and parents/families. Jennie is such a loving and caring teacher (please note that Mrs. Jennie has countless number of wonderful qualities!). She always makes my daughter feel right at home through love, play, feeding/meal time, nap time, etc. My husband and I truly trust Jennie to take care of our daughter. We always feel relieved every morning we drop her off knowing that she’s right at home; our daughter gets so happy when we tell her she’s going to school to play with Mrs. Jennie and friends! This is a positive sign and relief knowing our daughter is receiving the care she needs. We highly recommend Cadence Academy I. Please consider contacting the facility today. Cadence Academy is a great daycare! They are all professional and trustworthy! My daughter loves going to daycare and is always happy when picked up. She loves Mrs Alicia. She is always talking about how they always dance. They are dancing buddies! She is always talking about her job responsibilities, the songs they sing and the activities they do at daycare! Every morning, when my daughter sees the teachers, she is always yelling out to say hi and wave! Definitely would recommend!

The team at Cadence Academy has been a wonderful daycare and preschool for our family. Our son has attended the 8715 Bardstown Rd location since he is 2.5 years old. Initially it was challenging to get a spot, and we had to repeatedly contact the school and be patient. It was well worth the wait. All staff is kind and diligent and it is obvious to me as a parent that everyone is passionate about teaching and caring for children. My son loves his teachers and staff, enjoys going to school and is happily playing in the classroom when we pick him up. Teachers are diligent to intersperse teaching and play time, kids go outside when weather permits, my son always has sunscreen applied when needed and nap times are scheduled. Nevertheless, they are also flexible to adjust to individual kids. My son is no longer a good napper at 5 years old, and his teacher adjusted the posters near his rest/nap area in the room, so he could study them while quietly resting. He is interested in science and she made sure to rearrange the science posters for him. There has been a turnover of teachers in one my son's classrooms, which can happen, but he always was well taken care of. He loved being in Ms Alica and Ms Diane's room as a 3 year old, and adores Mrs Christina in the Preschool room. The kind child lessons are wonderful and very enriching, and the Pre-K program has allowed for my son to be kindergarten ready well ahead of starting in the fall. The Covid shutdown period and subsequent process changes were especially taxing, and the staff has always been gracious to all kids and parents. The school's director Ms Denise has done a great job communicating throughout. Director and teachers are always available for a quick chat as needed, which is very helpful as a parent. I could not think of a better school for my child and highly recommend Cadence Academy.
