My child started here at 1.5 years old. Aside from being sick almost every other week, things were manageable in the early years, and I genuinely valued his initial teachers—Ms. Kazima and Ms. Theresa. who were attentive, caring, and made me feel comfortable leaving my child in their care. The experience declined significantly once he entered the 3B classroom with Ms. Faith. That class had little structure, consistency, education or accountability. The room was overcrowded and chaotic, with far too many children for one teacher and one teacher assistant to manage effectively. At one point, there were approximately 22 children in the classroom, creating an environment that felt unsafe and overwhelming. Supervision was clearly lacking. Instead of actively engaging with or observing the children, the teacher was often seated, which allowed negative behaviors to go unnoticed and uncorrected. Though the room had a learning schedule that includes math, letters, shapes, it was largely ignored in 3b and the kids were allowed to play all day. Physical aggression between students became common, yet there were minimal consequences or corrective interventions. Over time, this normalized poor behavior and children were essentially left to manage themselves. The impact followed my child beyond that classroom. Now enrolled in a school with clear rules, boundaries, and expectations, he struggles to adjust and is still unlearning behaviors that were tolerated or ignored in that setting. As a parent, that is deeply frustrating and concerning. Administrative instability added to the problem. Directors changed multiple times (3 times in 2 years), creating inconsistency in leadership and standards. Teacher turnover was frequent, and classrooms were often understaffed. Sanitation was another ongoing concern. My child was constantly sick, far more than what feels normal for early childcare, which raises serious questions about cleanliness and health practices. Despite these persistent issues, tuition increased repeatedly about six times in two years without corresponding improvements in staffing, classroom quality, or child supervision. Communication with administration often felt dismissive, and concerns raised did not lead to meaningful change. It became clear over time that enrollment numbers and tuition collection were prioritized over the children’s safety, development, and emotional well-being. This center may be an option only if you have no alternatives, but it should not be viewed as a long-term solution. If you choose to enroll, I strongly recommend continuing your search for a better, more structured, and child-focused environment. Based on our experience, Cadence Lexington failed to provide the level of care, oversight, and stability that young children need to thrive.

This preschool is the absolute best! All of the teachers and directors are very caring and love these babies so much! I placed a message to them online asking about availability, and they called me back that same day! My son (4K) had the best experience. He loved all the teachers and did not want to leave!! He would tell me everyday they eat all day. They serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks. They have wonderful activities. Karate, gymnastics, soccer. If you work and are worried about caring for your baby, they will give them so much love. Ms. Zenia, Ms. Shona, and Ms. Bertha are the most caring and are great at there jobs!! You can’t get any better!

I would give this daycare 0 stars if I could. My son has been going there since he was a baby but with the lack of staff and director here lately, it is very unstructured. It is chaos most of the time and over priced for the lack of services they provide.

My child been attending Cadence about 3 1/2 years now and we both love it !! The entire staff is very kind and professional. The afterschool program is amazing, Ms. Kathleen keeps the kids engaged in educational, art and other learning activities. The love, care and responsibility they provide is so authentic it give me a peace of mind. I will definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for childcare.

Where do I begin? 1. Absolutely no structure, they don't follow a curriculum. Kids are wild 95% of the time and do what ever they want. You have kids with very odd behaviors biting other kids yet it's never addressed. 2. In the 3 months my son was there, he had 3 to 4 different teachers. 3. Extremely outdated and dirty. 4. The food they give these kids is an absolute joke, one day I walked in and they were having 1slice of white bread and milk for breakfast. For the amount of money they charge a decent breakfast and lunch is expected. I never saw a menu in the 3 months my son was there, however just couple days ago I saw the menu being posted in the classrooms. 5. I had to start taking my son lunch to school since he didn't want to eat their food. I don't blame him I wouldn't either! 6. Amanda the director is by far the most disrespectful unprofessional director I have ever seen. I was warned by many parents and teachers at other locations in regards to this director and facility yet I took the chance and boy was I in for a surprise! Will be taking this to management. This type of behavior for a preschool/daycare school is absolutely unacceptable. 7. One day when I went to pick up my son from school during nap time I witnessed how one of the teachers was grabbing really hard one kids arm. I should of said something and now I feel really bad about it. 8. Get ready for unnecessary phone calls to pick your kids up even though they're not sick!!! Your definitely not getting the service you pay for. 9. I would like to point out Ms. Marjenth was such an amazing and sweet teacher, the only good thing that school has honestly.
