Parents consistently praise Buttons and Bows for its long-tenured, experienced staff, family-oriented atmosphere, and strong communication with families. Many parents report multi-year enrollments and high child satisfaction, with appreciation for the facility's cleanliness, activities, and structured learning approach.
My son is very well taken care of here. Aimee, his teacher, gives me good feedback on his progress and communicates to me on Dojo if anything needs my attention. The director is wonderful with long tenure and I feel very safe having my child here.
All of my 5 children have attended Buttons and Bows over the past 15 years. I started over and have a 2 year old and now 8 week old who are attending. I've toured many daycare recently, to make sure I was not just sticking to what I have known in the past, and Buttons and Bows is truly is the best pick. Most of the staff have been there for over 25 years. The place is cleaned every night. The playground is nice and shaded, lots of things for them to do. Nice playground and space to play. The younger children are always doing activities and projects...plenty of toys to play with. They start learning and enforcing good habits from the 1 year old room. Teachers keep you in the loop with pictures of the kiddos and are able to send you messages with class Dojo. Once they start kindergarten, the bus will pick them up at the same elementary school my big ones went to , and then be able to go to camp and field trips with Buttons and Bows! I'm happy with sending my kids there, and look forward to having these two little babies grow up with the friendships and great memories my bigger ones have .....
We went to Little Learners at first, they wouldn't help potty train, nor did they have tolerance for kids acting out, they also had a revolving door of teachers. So we moved on. Buttons and Bows were very hospitable from the beginning. No beeing around the bush, always honest, family owned and experinced with long tenured staff. Our boys were there for 3 years, they loved it and made a lot of friends.
My daughter got bullied at this school. She brought it to the attention of the staff and nothing was done. I’m one of the incidents she was told to “stop crying because the driver can’t hear the gps”. She was on a field trip & got punched in the nose by a boy who was already a problem child with history of hitting. She’s 13 years old now and still tells the same story the way she told it when she attended. It’s carried with her for life. These people were paid to CARE for children and they did NOT. She recently shared her experience again & it hurts every time. I also see in these reviews that other people have had similar experiences for their children. Do not take it lightly. Staff being friendly with parents is not what to look for. You need people who will CARE for your child. On the other hand if your kids out of control and you don’t care for him/her to be corrected or lose his/her place in daycare due to behavior then you’ve found your place.
I wanted to take a moment and express my gratitude for all that you do. During our time at Buttons and Bows, everyone has expressed such love and support, like family, it's humbling. As parents we entrust our children with your caretakers knowing they will see them more than we do. We hope they are being taken care of as we would, if we could be there. I have no doubts or concerns when my children are in your care. They are always happy and constantly looking forward to the surprises the teachers always have in store for them. Special events, parties, gardening projects, field trips, dress up, the list grows daily. The consistent factor is the smiles on their faces making it evident of their enjoyment which reinforces my decision in where to place my children. The stories, songs, and crafts have made learning fun and sparked a love in them that I hope continues to grow. It's very obvious to me the passion the Buttons and Bows staff has for children and their well-being. The vocabulary, skills, and techniques they have acquired will carry them forward into the next chapter of their learning adventure!
