our experience with Bust Bees has been nothing but pleasant. Our son started at Busy Bees at 18months, after spending his first year being taken care of by us at home. I was nervous about the transition—however, from the very beginning the busy bees staff reassured us worried parents and provided our son all the warmth and attention to make the transition easy. I was really impressed how all the teachers not just the ones directly responsible for our Son’s care knew his name! I appreciate how every child is greeted by their name every morning at drop off—it makes me feel like I’m leaving my son in the care of close friends and family. More importantly, Our son loves going to day care and spending time with all his teachers and friends. he shares with us all the new activities he has learned and new vocabulary (including Spanish). We are incredibly satisfied with busy bees that we are enrolling our second child too! Thank you busy bees family!

We have been with Busy Bees since my son (now 3.5) was 8 months old. As I’m sure is typical with most parents who had their first baby in the 2020 height of Covid, we were beyond anxious to start daycare - but Busy Bees has been a godsend. Communication from teachers and leadership is frequent, and I feel grateful every day to be able to drop my son off at a daycare where teachers throughout the center know his name and care about him. I have to convince him to come home with me every day because he’s having so much fun. I have been a teacher myself for six years - and I’m very satisfied with how my son’s classes have been organized. He has tons of opportunities for both playing and learning, and he comes home excited to tell me about shapes, letters, numbers, and songs. I am also especially grateful for how much effort his teachers have put into helping him grow as a little person - as busy as the day of a preschool teacher is, I see my son (and other students) supported one on one when needed, and have never witnessed anything other than patience and kindness from his teachers as he has moved from the infant room all the way to threes.

Our daughter has been attending Busy Bee for the last 3+ years. We were very selective when we where choosing a day care for our daughter. We found that Busy Bee to met the criteria we identified and provided additional benefits we have come to rely on. Busy Bee's curriculum is ever evolving and is curated to the needs of children that attend each classroom. The curriculum includes traditional age appropriate educational topics as well as assist children develop cultural and emotional awareness. We found that every teacher/assistant recognizes that not every child's/parent's needs are the same and will work together with the parents to a identify program or approach that is acceptable and can be reinforced at home and school. The staff (from full time teachers to part time assistants to Administrate staff) shows incredible care, kindness, and love for the children. The communication is frequent, personal and direct. The staff works to ensure communication to and from from parents and staff is as seamless as possible. Having our daughter was one of the best decisions we made when we moved to Philly. Busy Bee became more than our daughter's day care; it is a family that we joined and that we are fortunate to be a part of.

Our son has been going to Busy Bees since he was six months old, and I honestly cannot say enough good things about the place. We have loved every teacher he has had at every developmental stage. The staff has been warm, caring, thoughtful and patient at every turn. They have supported our son in reaching his developmental milestones and beyond. I love hearing my son sing the parts of a flower, name countries and states, or rave about the time they built an actual space Mission Control and let the kids “travel to space”. I feel so lucky to have found such an amazing daycare and now pre-school for my little guy!

Busy Bees has been part of my family's life for five and a half years now: my son went to Busy Bees starting from the age of one all the way until he started kindergarten, and my daughter (now one and a half) has been there since she was two months old! We have been so grateful for all that Busy Bees has done for our kids. The genuine love and care they share with our kids is so apparent every day. When we started at Busy Bees, we had just moved back to Philly from Washington, DC, where my son had been going to a fancy and very expensive daycare. In DC, the daycare was beautiful but the staff suffered from such high turnover that my son's principal caregivers changed multiple times during the course of our time there - which was really disruptive for our son's ability to thrive and form attachments at that young age! Busy Bees, by contrast, has no such problem - we joke that one of our daughter's current teachers changed our son's diaper's too (even though they are seven years apart in age!). There are staff at Busy Bees that have been there for 20+ years! One final thing: the cameras that let you spy on your kids in the classroom are wonderful. It is such a treat to peep in and see that my kids are having a great day.
