Burns Child Care & Preschool Center

My kids went here for all of 3 months at most and all though some of the people in the office are friendly I would say that this daycare center needs to be investigated and over seen by some source. Some of the staff look very questionable as to there credentials and a good portion of the staff do not look as though working with kids is a passion. More so an easy job to obtain. I picked my daughter up feb 6 2024 and when I arrived my daughter was crying at the top of her lungs on the playground. There were 2 teachers present outside not acknowledging the fact that the child was crying. My daughter accused the teacher of hitting her as well as another child in the class stating that the teacher my daughter. The video footage shows the teacher following my daughter as she ran away and doesn’t clearly show the teachers hands. Just the back of her and I strongly believe she did what the kids said she did. I strongly believe they also try to confuse the kids to make it appear that they may not be 100% about what they’ve said. In the 3 months my kids were present here I noticed a significant change in them. I could tell that bullying among children may have been present and it’s possible the teachers are included as well. If u are a parent seeking daycare for your kids I know it’s hard to find good daycares in decent areas but I strongly suggest u weigh your options before enrolling your child at this center.

My children used to attend Burns on an hourly basis. When the center used to offer 24-hour care, I would drop them off there when I needed to work nights. The facility is excellent and has many options for keeping kids active inside and outside. The staff is incredible, the teachers are engaged, and the communication between the staff and families is very much appreciated!

This center has been a staple in the community and has helped us raise several member of our family. We love the staff at Burns. I needed to work an extra hours to make ends meet, Burns opened their doors earlier just for us. They’ve provided food when we were struggling, they really make us feel like family.

I absolutely think this childcare center are some amazing people with great passion for children. With 4 grandchildren there I am sure they are well taken care of while there. Keep up the great work and professionalism.
