We have been attending 11am service since August! Just moving to Texas we looked for a Church where our 14yr old would sit with us and be feed the word AND understand it! Every Sunday our 7yr old dances with us but asks “why don’t all the kids go up front to dance like we did at our Florida Church”? We explain all churches are different! But, the message is always so simple, clear, convicting and telling! We are praying about joining!
This review is primarily of concern for the Mother’s Day Out “drop off/pick up system” the church provides. The Mother’s Day out program is/seems to be good and positive overall but many parents have concerns with the system for drop off and pick up. The children are too young to have a car line drop off and pick up system and it poses many safety hazards/concerns. It’s safer at these young ages to take the children inside to their classroom and also have better communication with their teachers. The drop off and pick up car line is too fast paced and hurried and it’s not always the child’s classroom teachers taking them inside the building and this poses many risks as far as the vehicles and vehicle safety, familiar staff, and accident prevention. Most parents want this to be changed where they can physically take their child inside to drop them off and pick them up. Staff are very friendly and write daily reports to include artwork and activities for the day and children seem happy overall but this review is mainly for the system as mentioned above. This church has a great reputation but it’s also concerning that the parents rarely get to see their child at their classroom in their environment they’re in 2-3 days a week even if briefly for pick-up or drop-off. While this is a Mother’s Day out program, any or most all accredited daycares don’t do a car line drop off with children of this very young age. Please consider this safety concern. Thank you.
We have been members here for 17 years & love it! Great people, wonderful staff, warm and loving small group Sunday morning classes, great Praise Team and good solid preaching. Pastor Paul has been there for us, when we've needed him. We found our church home and forever friends, when we came to Bulverde Baptist Church.
I felt very welcome, pastor John had a very inspiring message, those at the welcome desk were very helpful. Pastor Paul reached out to me on Monday and invited me to meet with him. I believe I will fit in with this church family when the time comes.
