I’m not sure what the people leaving these recent “negative reviews” are trying to gain, but since Ms. Christi has taken over as Director here I’ve seen nothing but positive improvements. The center is always clean and smells amazing. There is a very diverse group of staff that actually show up every day and are happy to be there. You can tell they care about each child and their individual needs. Most of the classrooms have 2 teachers so there’s an appropriate level of supervision. This childcare center and its staff care MOST about the children and families and least about the dollar. Building Kidz of Chandler absolutely sets the bar for any other childcare facility

The turnover for teachers is ridiculous and bias. They have let go of every African American teacher who has worked there without justifiable reasons. The staff that they do retain does not supervise the children well. My niece and nephew attended this daycare and almost everyday they would come home injured. My niece is a baby and at the time, she was learning how to sit up on her own. Several times the staff would watch her fall backwards and hit her hit on the hard floor and not put her in a safer environment. My nephew has hit his head on the concrete outside because on one was watching the children play. I know kids will fall and hurt themselves but some injuries experienced at this daycare were 100% preventable. The staff yank, pull, hit and scream at the kids. Its a horrible environment for any child. This place truly only cares about the money and not the wellbeing of the children.

I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding serious concerns about the care and management practices at [ Building Kidz Of Chandler], located at [ 2200 N Alma School Rd, Chandler, AZ 85224]. I am a parent and was a client of this center for approximately five years, and I have observed troubling developments—particularly following a management change in 2023—that raise urgent questions about child safety and regulatory compliance. 1. Child Safety and Well-Being On multiple occasions, children—including my own—came home with unexplained scratches and bruises, or reported being roughly handled. Children have at times been left without meals, with the explanation that “the app was down,” only for records to be updated after the facility closed. Staff have been observed yelling at, pulling, or yanking children without appropriate corrective action. 2. Staff Conduct and Management Response Concerns reported to the director and assistant director were consistently met with generic assurances that the matter would be “sent to corporate,” but no meaningful follow-up occurred. 3. Incident of September 18, 2025 On this date, a teacher ( Daphnie ) aggressively pulled my child from my arms. When I expressed concern to management, I was met with initial sympathy but later accused—without cause—of creating an “unsafe environment,” and my childcare contract was abruptly terminated. Any other parent would react the way that I did or worse about their infant being snatched from their arms. 4. Broader Issues I have reason to believe that online reviews critical of the center are removed or offset by reviews from individuals affiliated with the facility. These issues collectively suggest systemic neglect of both children’s welfare. I respectfully request that the appropriate agencies conduct a thorough investigation. I strongly urge parents and caregivers to carefully reconsider before enrolling a child at [Building Kidz Of Chandler]. During my five years with this center, I initially had no major concerns. However, after management changed in 2023, I witnessed a sharp decline in professionalism and child care standards. Key Issues Observed: Children have returned home with unexplained scratches and bruises, and on some days were not fed as scheduled. Staff have, on several occasions, handled children roughly or raised their voices, with no visible corrective action. When concerns are reported, families typically receive only generic “corporate” responses and little to no follow-up. On September 18, 2025, my family’s contract was terminated after I objected to a staff member’s ( Daphnie , previous infant teacher and now in the one's room) aggressive handling of my child. Management initially expressed sympathy but later made inaccurate claims about my behavior (which my behavior was justified especially in the regards to the way my child was handled and instead of addressing the incident itself. Based on these experiences with the new owners and directors, I cannot recommend this facility for childcare or employment. I urge prospective families to research thoroughly and consider alternative providers that prioritize transparency, safety, and respectful treatment of both children, parents, and staff.

I have loved Building Kidz Chandler from the moment I took the tour and have continued to love it throughout the 1.5 years my daughter has been attending, but I would give it an even higher rating now that Christi has taken over as the Director. Since she joined the team the experience increased tremendously. The quality of staff has improved and the turnover rate went down. More hands on learning has been added to the curriculum. She holds the staff as well as herself accountable and is a joy to interact with. I cannot say enough about how great our experience has been since Christi joined Building Kidz Chandler.

Since Ms. Christi has been the director the standards of this school are very high. Christy is very welcoming towards the parents any concerns that arise are handled in a very proffesional way. We are all greatful to have her here as the captain of our ship, our school shines is in on the way to the top.
