What Parents Say
Building Blocks Learning Center is highly regarded by parents as a nurturing educational facility rather than a typical daycare. Parents consistently praise the caring, dedicated staff who create individualized learning plans and help children prepare for kindergarten while fostering social development. The center's security measures, clean facility, and genuine care from teachers and director are repeatedly highlighted as major strengths.
The teachers here have such heart. You walk in and instantly feel welcome. It is a safe and secure building, which I am sure you can appreciate. They let your child be a kid, and play and socialize. However, they work with your children so they are more than prepared for Kindergarten. They also offer a full time Kindergarten Program, which is nice for the Back Mountain Area! Definitely stop by and check it out if you are looking for child care in the area!
My baby is attached to me and Building Blocks learning center is the only place she’ll go alone. She loves her teachers and I can tell that they love her. I can confidently go to work knowing she’s being cared for by her teachers. If you want to send her that teaches your child loves your child and keeps them on a routine this is where you should go!
The staff are so amazing with working each child on thier own level. The creativity they do with thier students is amazing!! Your child is safe coming to school everyday with having 2 code entering locks to access the building. This center is by far by just calling it a "daycare" your child will learn so much from each teacher as they grow.
Back when we were expecting our first child in 2015 I had extreme anxiety about sending my child to "daycare". I was the first in my family to have to do this, but my mom did a simple Google search and told me to check out BBLC. My husband and I set up an appointment and after it, we walked out of there 150% comfortable with sending my child, and now in 2019 I send 2 children to BBLC. Little did I know- this is not a daycare. This is school- a learning center. Here, my children learn the things that I cannot be home to teach them. My oldest comes home and sings songs and tells us all about her day and all that she learned. I am blown away with all she knows because of BBLC. Even more importantly, BBLC is a second family. I know that my childrens' teachers genuinely care about my family. They put their hearts and souls into every aspect of their day. They create lesson plans that meet state standards- even in the infant room. I get the handprint and footprint crafts that every mother treasures but working moms can't always make happen at home. The director, Kelsey, knows every family- every child's name in the facility. I am always greeted with a smile and often times a friendly conversation. She keeps the center running smoothly with the help of her assistant director, Kristen. They are a dynamic duo. You really can't go wrong choosing BBLC for your child. I wouldn't have mine go anywhere else!
Transitioning to day care was a big decision for our family and young son. BBLC made that transition so easy, caring for us through each step and helping us understand the time it takes to get used to something new. My son LOVES his teachers, has started the best (and cutest) friendships, and has truly blossomed under the curriculum at BBLC.
