Love this daycare. The director is so kind and understanding and is always active in the center and classrooms! The teachers make caring for the children's needs and making them comfortable a top priority. Price is reasonable and they are open most days the school districts are closed. Everyone parents and teachers are so friendly and are very inviting to new family’s!
We have been taking our daughter to a Building Blocks for almost 2 years and we have been so happy. When we started our daughter was doing speech therapy and Building Blocks had no issues with having the speech therapist come into their facility to help our daughter. This was a HUGE benefit that would previous daycare would not allow. This allow our daughter get in person speech therapy and huge improvements were made. The Director, Assistant Director and the entire staff are warm, kind and treat the children with respect.
Please don’t bring your kids here! I’ve toured a few daycares for my baby and this one was by far the worst daycare. I will say the lady in the front was very nice however there were so many red flags, multiple state violations. When you first walk in you notice a little play gym area for the young toddlers, behind the stand the wall is just made out of wood. Nothing covering the wood any child could easily get hurt. Many outlets weren’t covered, paint chips on the walls, floor was dirty. When I walked in the infant room most of the babies were crying and had snot running down their noses. When we walked to the toddler room I instantly heard the teacher screaming at a one year old and then I hear a little girl crying, when we walked into the room the teacher acted like nothing happened. Makes me wonder what happens behind closed doors at this place.
We have been at Building Blocks for a month and it has been a wonderful experience. Things I love: - The facilities are very nice - all new toys, furniture, they even have a little library for the kids! - The Directors are very involved - always there to ask for feedback and are very hands on. - The teachers are phenomenal are truly care about the well being and development of your child. Every day we walk into school, my child’s face lights up when he sees and hears his teachers voice. - They use an app called Brightwheel which gives you real-time updates on your child’s feeds, potty, naps, and photos throughout the day. - At the beginning of each month they send out a calendar of events for the upcoming month, along with a spirit week. Even the infants follow along with activities outlined on the calendar! Childcare was a big stressor in our lives until we found Building Blocks and we are forever grateful for all they do for our family.
We have always felt extremely comfortable and safe with our daughter here. Kylene and Amber do an amazing job of communicating and nurturing our child. 10/10 would recommend.
