I need to start by saying how much appreciation I have for building blocks! When my oldest son was diagnosed with adhd and I was informed by his doctor that he would benefit from an integrated preschool setting i called building blocks. I was told by several people in the community that it was a great place for children with developmental disabilities. I definitely made the right choice! He was lucky enough to have Miss Christi for the integrated pre k program. She is fantastic! Thanks to her he was able to move to a general education program for elementary school. When it was time to look for preschool for my other 2 children I looked no further. My son was placed with Miss Christine for the 3s program. He really enjoyed going to her class. She always had wonderful activities and projects planned for the children. She also helped me realize that he also needed some additional services. Thanks to her he is currently in Miss Amy's 4 year old integrated class and is doing amazing. He is so excited to go to school each day and so eager to learn! He even knows his numbers and letters! My daughter also went to building blocks. She was in the toddler program with Miss Dawn. She is the type of child who didn't like to separate from me but Miss Dawn made the separation process so easy! By the third day of school she was running into the classroom without even looking back at me! I have never seen my daughter happier! Miss Dawn is the greatest toddler teacher in the world! My children have also received related services through building blocks. Miss Shannon was my older son's occupational therapist and I was overjoyed when I found out that my other son would be placed with her as well. He also receives physical therapy with Miss Amy and speech therapy with Miss Alexa. I cannot say enough about each of these women. I feel so lucky to have them in my corner. My son has come so far and grown so much due to their hard work and dedication. I would also like to mention the nursing staff. My daughter has epilepsy so you can imagine how nervous this made me. Thanks to the nursing staff I had no fear. They are so knowledgeable and wonderful and I felt completely confident about the care that she was receiving! Overall building blocks has exceeded all of my expectations! Every staff member including teachers, assistants, therapists, and administrators have been nothing but kind and nurturing throughout this preschool experience! I am forever grateful to this wonderful school!

We absolutely love Building Blocks Preschool! My daughter is in her second year there — she started in the Tuesday/Thursday 9–11 class and now goes three days a week from 8:30–11. I love that they offer so many scheduling options for families. The communication is amazing — they send detailed emails after each day or week sharing what the kids did, which helps me feel connected and makes it easy to talk to my daughter about her day. They also do so many fun activities and adorable shows throughout the year — it’s clear how much thought and care goes into everything they do. Every person I’ve interacted with — from the office staff and teachers to the security guards — has been incredibly kind and welcoming. My son will be starting next year, and I couldn’t be happier to have found such a wonderful, nurturing environment for both my kids. I recommend them to everyone I know!

Our so PJ was enrolled the last 2 years at BB and we are so grateful that Miss Jenn his speech therapist recommended this school. Our son cried everyday for about a week, he was only 3 when he started and from the security guard Paul, to the coordinator Myra, and the teachers assistants are all kind and said comforting things to say to calm him and welcome him. Miss Suellen was his 1st teacher and she was such a loving and motherly figure to PJ, he practically attached himself to her hip for the year. Thank you Miss Suellen and staff! The next year PJ changed classes and was very distraught and had to start over with a new teacher and new friends. Miss Andrea took him in and within a week he was attached to her! Miss Andrea’s approach was more of a “figure it out” approach and we watched our son grow into a confident and independent person he had never been before. Thank you Miss Andrea and staff! We all cried when we said good bye to Miss Andrea to start summer classes and when we finished with summer we were so sad to say bye to Building blocks. To building blocks, from the bottom of my heart; thank you for taking care of our son, thank you for turning him into the little person he has become. For anyone thinking of sending their child to BB, the one thing I never thought of while our son was in BB care was if he was in danger. I never worried about my son whom is our life. That to me is the greatest compliment I can pay. Sincerely thank you Building blocks staff! ♥️♥️

We started our journey 3 years ago at this amazing school. When our son was first diagnosed on the spectrum it was a VERY confusing and an isolating time for us. We had no idea where to start, what to do, or how to help him. We felt completely helpless. On our very first tour with Building Blocks, we walked in completely unsure. We walked out knowing this was going to be the best place for him to grow. In the 3 years we have been there we haven't been disappointed with our decision once! This school is staffed with the most amazing individuals. No one ever does not have the time to speak with you. Someone is always willing to help, guide and explain things. Our son has only worked with 8 of the teachers, however I have personally gotten to know every single one of them and know them. They are all amazing. I would be comfortable and confident putting my son in ANY of their classes. Recently our country was turned upside down, quickly. Without skipping a beat, the administrative staff, teachers & assistants all stepped up and put in 150% of effort to reconstruct how they teach our children. They learned a new way to ensure that all of our children were still learning. Everyday. From the classrooms all the way to gym class! I have never regretted my decision placing our son in this amazing school. And I know anyone reading this review will not either. They have helped not only my son become the best version of himself, but my family as well. Building Blocks is not just a school. You become a part of them, a part of their family. Even as we step out the door for the last time and move onto kindergarten, I know without doubt, that if I need something or guidance or support, I can always call them.

My son was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and he received early intervention and then went on to building blocks where he received speech and o.t. and did wonderfully there mrs Leslie was his teacher the first year in a 12:1:2 and then ms Kaitlyn the second year in a 10:1:1 he has progressed so much and the staff was always helpful and nice to my wife and I. I don't know about other peoples experiences but my son and my experience were nothing short of great hes on his way to kindergarten now and is in a 15:1:1 I think he will move on to an integrated class next year and possibly eventually go mainstream. He also has a great support structure at home and we weren't the Not My Kid parents we always did and continue to do what is in his best interest. Not every ASD child is the same so when looking for a school make sure you do your homework. In my experience building blocks was great
