Building Blocks Christian Academy

Building Blocks Christian Academy has been a gift to our family. Our daughter started at age 3 speaking very little English and made remarkable progress within a year. She literally jumps into school every morning, which says everything about how safe and loved she feels. The teachers are incredibly kind and attentive to details; they even thoughtfully labeled her painting with the date and a little note! The pedagogy is playful, creative, and balanced—language, social-emotional learning, arts, outdoor play, and curiosity-driven projects. Communication with parents is clear and caring. We’re so grateful for BBCA and recommend it wholeheartedly.

We've sent two kids to this school and it has been amazing! The teachers and administration are very experienced and truly care for each child. The space they have allows kids to safely play around outside in a large grassy area everyday. I was able to go to work everyday feeling confident that my very young kids were well cared for (materially, intellectually and spiritually).

This school has been a huge blessing to our family! We could tell from the first tour that it is the ideal blend of academics, play and biblical teaching. The teachers are very experienced and qualified, and equally warm and loving. The facilities are top notch, the best part being the beautiful outdoor space that is unmatched in West LA. It's also very clean and we have been surprised that our daughter rarely gets sick since starting here. Our daughter is excited to go every morning, and we drop her off feeling confident that she is in a safe, loving environment.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Building Blocks!
