I try to never miss a chance to publicly praise the Teachers and Staff at BCCI. This school has been amazing! We are so incredibly grateful for everything they have done for our little girl. She’s been there both years and throughout their summer camps. She also attend their Before/Aftercare program. So she spends a lot of time with the teachers and staff. She absolutely adores them. They are literally her best friends. When we first came to BCCI, she was almost uncontrollable at home and at other schools. She had very big emotions and difficulty communicating and regulating them. What 3 year old doesn’t? After just a short time, the years of experience her teachers, Ms. Andrea and Ms. Jeanette, have really paid off. They knew exactly how to manage her emotions and teach her how to calm herself down. She has learned so much in their care. She is starting to read, she can count to 100 (and higher if you let her), and she can write her whole name (and it’s a long one). She comes home and has discussions with us about space, anatomy, animals, and all kinds of wonderful subjects. She tells us about her yoga classes and music classes. She gets to learn about so many different cultures while there. They have lots of special presentations- anywhere from their nature company visits to magic shows. They hold plays and recitals for the kids… I can go on and on. This is her last summer camp with them but we are excited that our son will be going there next year. We can continue to see him flourish under their care. What a wonderful group of people. We just absolutely love them. They are so experienced and so kind. It’s rare to find teachers for this age group that truly care about the kids they teach- this isn’t just a job to them. This has been their life. Thank you BCCI and thank you Ms. Tanya for taking care of our Military families next door. We move around a lot and we feel so lucky to have found you when we first arrived to this area.

My daughter attended two summer camps, 3K, and PreK there. The teachers are great. They really are attentive to all the students needs. The small classroom setting does not overwhelm her either. She loved going to school there and looked forward to seeing her teachers and friends. I love that they incorporate music and yoga weekly. Being on the VA campus is a plus since there are security guards and parking available. We were also able to get regular picture updates about the kids. The teachers are always available for questions and ask for feedback. My child adjusted well to kindergarten thanks to them.

My daughter went to summer camp at BCCI and it was the best summer camp experience that she’s had ! The teachers are the most caring , educated, sweet and nurturing people! Everyday she would come home happy and tell me about all the activities that she did at camp ! The director Tanya is hands on and always available to talk . She is amazing , she is always doing something with the kids or for the kids . This place is truly a gem , I felt so safe and happy when my daughter came here . I would recommend this school and summer camp to anyone who wants their children to thrive and be confident !

BCCI is a true hidden gem! My spouse and I had made several visits to different daycare centers in this school district before we decided to enroll our oldest. We signed him up for summer camp with no hesitation and he was luckily admitted to their 3K program. We enrolled our other children as well. They are always excited and looking forward to go to BCCI every morning. All the staffs have been very supportive, informative, positive, kind and caring. They not only provide a creative, fun, safe and nurturing environment for their students; but there is also ongoing and transparent communication between staffs and parents. They truly respect, value and honor each students and parents’ feelings, needs and privacy. During holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, other times like birthdays, and graduation, all families are welcome and invited to see students’ performances. Families are also provided with delicious food and drinks to celebrate together. BCCI also offers tons of fun learning opportunities and visits from farm companies. We couldn’t have asked for a better 3K and PreK experience for our children. I would highly recommend BCCI to anyone!

BCCI is a hidden gem of a school. Our daughter is a student and will have attended 3K, Pre-K, and three summers of camp by the time she leaves in August. She was a pandemic child at home with us and I couldn't ask for a more secure, wonderfully staffed and engaged school. The programming is amazing, very creative and with plenty of family and community involvement. The school is located on the VA hospital grounds, so there is a security checkpoint as well as police on site in the parking lot ready to assist. There are securely locked doors, and video camera door bells as well as extensive check ins to make sure the school, the children, and staff are as safe as possible. In a world where all parents worry about safety and violence, BCCI alleviates any concern and if I could, I would keep her there several more years. I've seen my daughter flourish in every way while attending BCCI. She is excelling academically and all around. I'm very grateful for this school and recommend it to neighbors, friends, anyone who will listen. We will miss BCCI when my daughter transitions to kindergarten!
