Our daughter started with Brookhaven in Jan 2021 as an infant. She has been attending the school for the past several years. We are more than satisfied and appreciate the teachers and the staff. They have been helpful and flexible in many arenas throughout our tenure. Not only have the teachers been positive, their personal connection with each child including my daughter is impressive. The school is clean and organized; the teachers and staff are professional and engaged. I highly recommend Brookhaven to any parent.
The owners were not very pleasant when my child attended this school. I can relate to the other one and two star reviews. My child had a horrible experience at this school that we did not discover until years later. So I wish we'd never stepped foot in this place with our child.
Our oldest daughter is finishing her Kindergarten year at Brookhaven and our new baby just started this Spring. The care they have shown our family over the past five years has been incredible, and they have done an amazing job preparing our oldest for "big kid school". She's even reading on a first grade level! They truly take the time to learn each child's strengths and individual needs. Adding a comment because a few people have left negative reviews about teachers leaving and students being dismissed. We have been at Brookhaven for over 5 years with 2 kids. They have a VERY high standard for teachers and they do NOT tolerate dangerous behavior. I appreciate this as a parent who wants a high level of care for my children and a safe environment.
When you walk into Brookhaven, you immediately notice that it is clean, colorful, and playful! My oldest son started there when he was 2.5 years old. He LOVED his time there and loved all of his teachers (and so did I). He started Kindergarten this year and he is so ahead! A lot of the kindergarten curriculum that he is expected to know by the END of the year, he went in already knowing from his time at Brookhaven. My youngest son now attends Brookhaven and he is thriving as well. Brookhaven provides a structured and educational environment, however all of the teachers that my children have had have been extremely nurturing and loving with my children. I’m so glad that my children are well taken care of while I am at work and I can’t tell you how relieved I am knowing that they love it so much. We have been at Brookhaven for almost 4 years and we’ve never had any issues with the teachers or the administration. Brookhaven has been amazing for my children and I’m so thankful for how much they have learned and flourished there.
Echoing the sentiment in many of the reviews below, aside from those left by the owners or employees of this facility, Brookhaven has been an incredible disappointment. Prior to sending my child here, we were at a five star center that we left after relocating to a new home. I knew no other daycare would measure up to our expectations, but I wish I hadn't settled on the first daycare with an opening. I also wish I had taken heed to reviews that I read about Brookhaven on Google (and elsewhere) because everything stated is entirely true. Do yourself (and your children) a favor and find a daycare center that operates with professionalism, transparency, and integrity.
