Very nice and clean I feel ok when I give my twins it’s always happy when they come to the daycare
Great Daycare!!!, I volunteered for Teaching Observation Hours, watching each child so attach to their teacher, using words to communicate, and learning to play together amazing!!!. This School very organized and great schedule, from nap time to lunch provided. Each Teacher were patient, making sure hands are wash and area organized ( call clean up time). If you are looking for safe great environment for your child I promise this is great location, I seen it, with my own eyes!!!
My two children have attended this daycare, with my youngest starting at 6 months and my middle child joining at 5.4 years old. The transition from the infant room to the pre-school program has been exceptional, earning it a perfect 10 out of 10 in my book. Tay, the director, is easy to work with, fair, and true to her word – a 'yes' is a 'yes,' and 'no' means 'no.' She has consistently gone above and beyond to accommodate both me and my child. My youngest, who is currently 2 years old, still attends the daycare and absolutely loves it. The staff knows him by name, treating him as if he were their own. Mrs. Maggie, in particular, is a gem, making each child feel loved, warm, and special. This sentiment extends to all the caretakers; for instance, Mrs. G in the infant room is quick to notice if a baby isn't feeling well or if something seems off. I appreciate the level of attention to detail and communication at the daycare. Mrs. G, in the infant room, is particularly adept at picking up on subtle cues and keeps parents well informed. Any changes are communicated with ample time for adjustment. Overall, it's a fantastic place to entrust the care of your child.
Our son started a little over two months ago and things seemed fine with the exception of not regularly logging activities in Procare etc. Then two weeks ago we pick him up, he had scratches which is understandable as they are toddlers. I reached out to the Director and there were no incident reports and I stated for them to be cautions and to keep an eye. Today, I get a call while at work that my son was bitten in the morning, mind you I got notified at 2:30pm regarding a morning incident. We get to the daycare to pick him up, we’re greeted by the director and no mention of the incident, we walk into the classroom, we speak to the teachers aid that gives us the incident report- the teacher does not have a conversation with us regarding the incident. At this point I’m livid, I leave the classroom stating that this is ridiculous to only have the teacher explain that as soon as the incident happened she notified her superiors.. Yet, the director says absolutely nothing to us, then when I continue to speak to the teacher, regarding the call, which they said it did not pierce his skin, my son not only has 1 bite mark but 2! The director then proceeds to tell us that he came from home with those marks as those marks are dark?!!! So what happened to the bite mark?? Why was there an even incident report filled? She was not present in the classroom and when this took place. The lack of accountability, the audacity to argue with parents and no regard for the children is beyond me!!! I understand that things happen, but the fact that the director blatantly lied in my face regarding body marks- it’s disheartening.
I work at the Daycare in Needham, but I live in Brockton. My daughter goes to Li'l Steps Academy for a year and a half. She started there as infant and now she is in toddler classroom. Li'l Steps Academy had some issues when we started, but now, with the new director, this place is Great. And I am telling this as a professional(I am almost 12 years on the Early Education Field).Staff is very nice and friendly. I can always address any question or concerns to their Director,Melinda. They have transportation and free snack(the menu is much better than the place I am working in).Large classes, outside playground and amazing curriculum make this place a perfect fit for my family. They accept vouchers and even their private pay tuition cost is only $10.00 higher than the voucher pay. Come and check it out for yourself.
