Brilliant Minds Early Learning Academy LLC

My daughter is starting VPK this year. I have been speaking with Brilliant Minds (and their new school Innovation Academy on Pipkin Road) since March. I chose Brilliant Minds specifically for the location. The staff there did not tell me VPK would be moving to the Pipkin location until I physically brought them my daughter’s VPK certificate about 2 months before school started. From that point forward getting important information from them was very difficult. We received a phone call yesterday at 2pm (5 days before the first day of school) telling us they haven’t received their sign off to operate the VPK program and would be operating under a religious exemption and if we wanted our daughter to attend the school it would be $25/week. While that would equate to $1,000 throughout the entire year, if they never received their VPK credentials (which they said may be the case) my issue isn’t about the sudden cost. The lack of communication left me feeling wary and ultimately lead to my husband and I choosing another school for our daughter. 5 days prior to the start of school and they still had not told us who her teacher would be or if she would be in the AM or PM session. The staff (especially Pam and Ms. Serena) were always very friendly and warm. The new building on Pipkin looks absolutely beautiful. The lack of communication and transparency with the new building opening was very disappointing and frustrating. I wish them all the best with their new location and I’m sure in time these kinks will be worked out.

To say that this school is a great school would be an understatement! My daughter has been enrolled at BMELA for about 4 months now I honestly never want to leave! You really see where your money is going. I love how they include Christ into the kids daily routines and lesson plans. The teachers here truly care about the kids and the principal/owner is an amazing educator. She is very down to earth and polite. You can tell that she truly puts the kids education, safety, and care FIRST! Brilliant Minds has soooooo much to offer! I would rate this school a 10/10 whether your child is 6 weeks old or 16 years old they will soar at this school!

I have had my grandson here since 1st grade, and my granddaughter just started last year and they both love it. Their teachers are great and they have a lot of patience and compassion. The administrative staff is always easy to reach out to and always there when you need them! I'm excited to see some of the new teachers this year, and to see what new things the kids will be doing this year! Love this school and it was the best decision I could've made for the kids by pulling them out of public school and putting them here instead!

My 4 year old son attends this school , in VPK. I can not say enough good things about this school. We absolutely love this group we have here. From the office staff to the teachers, most importantly Mrs.Serena she is hands down the best with the kids. These kids are not “kids” to her she treats them each as her own and i can’t thank her enough for that , she definitely made my “momma” heart at ease letting my baby go.

I have 3 children who are students here and I am so grateful for the teachers and supporting staff. They patiently took the time to work through enrollment and step up funding issues I was having, going above what would be expected to help work it out. Additionally, the middle school teachers have been so wonderful. My kids look forward to Coach B’s class because he utilizes technology in a fun and relative way. Do you have a kid who loves Minecraft or Roblox? This is the environment to integrate what they love and how they learn! My kids have also mentioned how much they enjoy being in Ms. Ellisons and Ms. Dufors class. A wonderful balance of work and fun! The early elementary side has also been wonderful! Mrs. Keyser has helped my timid kindergartner grow in confidence in school and relationships with friends.
