As I sit here and look at these reviews I am very upset. I have only had great experiences with Ms. Keisha. During the enrollment process she was very helpful and supportive to me. I was unsure about enrolling my child but she made me feel comfortable and safe. So if it was not for her my child would not be in daycare. Whenever I need to talk she’s always there to listen. No matter if it’s about advice for my kid or just me as a mommy and because I need someone to talk to. The kids love her and she does a lot for the kids. I have often seen Ms. Keisha jump in the classroom whenever she is needed. In my short amount of time here I have seen Ms. Keisha and staff get verbally abused by these parents but Ms. Keisha and her staff still show up the next day for our children. As I have witnessed all of the children are very loved and very well taken care of while they are there. Thank you Ms. Keisha for showing up everyday giving 1000 percent and thanks to the other staff as well.

This brightside academy is very unprofessional especially the new director Lakeisha. She talks nasty to her parents and staff. I even heard the director talking about the parents to the staff. The pre k teacher is very nasty and rude to the children she screams and yell at them. I have heard it more them twice as i was coming to drop my child off se had the children just sitting at a table in the classroom. My child said they are not allowed to play until they go outside. Ms.Lakiesha dont like to address the parents issues and concerns and she dosent care at all. Brianna and laskieha needs to be gone from the center.

My Son attended this location and i had to pull him out because’ the director Keisha Johnson was very nasty to me over a numerous times she would not give me the EIN number to file my taxes for co pay kept having her staff answer the phone. I heard her saying to one of her staff members she purposely don't speak to me that was the icing on the cake of why i pulled my son out. She never says good morning she sit with a attitude and face frowned up. My mother even had to call the center to see what was the problem she had with me. She’s very nasty as a woman, and director in the childcare field. The last week of my son being at the center my son mentioned she told him to shut up when she came into his class. I would like to bring my son back as long as shes not the director his teacher he had was actually trying to work with my son and sending home nice art work. But i would not recommend this director at all. Thank You

Ever since the new director, Ms. Keisha, has taken over, this place has gone completely downhill. She is extremely unprofessional, rude, and carries a nasty attitude, not only with the staff but also with the parents. I personally experienced her disrespect when she confronted me in an aggressive manner and even told me to “meet her outside” after I raised a concern about how my child was being treated. That type of behavior is completely unacceptable for someone in leadership at a childcare facility. The teachers here (with the exception of Miss D, who is truly amazing and the only one I trust) are aggressive with the children. Instead of nurturing them, they yell and speak to them in a way that is completely inappropriate. Today, I walked in to pick up my child and witnessed one of the new hires which is a young girl who had never even introduced herself to me yelling at my child in a very hostile, adult-like manner. (Her name is Brianna Troy.) No parent should have to worry about their child being spoken to like that in a place that is supposed to care for and protect them. Another issue is the constant turnover. They bring in new, inexperienced young workers who don’t even have the courtesy to introduce themselves to parents. That lack of communication and professionalism is alarming when it comes to the people being trusted with our kids. On top of everything, the daycare itself is in a poor location. tucked away in the back of a building with trash and an unclean, unpleasant environment. It does not feel safe, clean, or welcoming. This daycare is ghetto, unprofessional, and unsafe for children. I strongly urge other parents to protect their kids and NOT send them here

If i could rate this childcare center a zero i would ! My cousin was very upset informing that director is very unprofessional have side bar conversations with her son side of the family making up lies on her to them. She also mentioned when she drop her son off at times 7:30, its a darkskin teacher that does not speak sits there on her phone. It was one or two other children there and she screams at them. She told my little cousin to sit at the table until his teacher came in he could not play. I would not recommend any parent to put there child at this location.
