What Parents Say
Brightside Academy has received mixed reviews with significant concerns about staffing and child safety. While some parents praise individual teachers highly, multiple families report chronic understaffing issues, inadequate supervision, safety incidents, and lack of management responsiveness.
My daughter went through a lot of bad things in that school racism, bullying and they neglected her they are irresponsible to the point that they let my 3-year-old daughter leave the building alone by herself without supervision, they hit her at school the children came all bruises in her body to the house, l told them and They didn't do anything, they crushed her finger with the door, they left her alone in a room for 3 or 4 minutes, they say, but it was longer, my daughter has been traumatized and very, very affected, she has totally changed since she entered that school together with the children of 3 years and they never did anything it is very unfortunate that this happened, I do not recommend this deycare, the employees and teachers are negligent do not trust leaving your children in that deycare.
Never enough employees. Children get hurt and they feel the need Not to tell their parents. Employees never show on time making parents late for work. No supervisors to contact. When a supervisor does decide to show no one knows where she is. She comes late and leaves early. Daycare is ran by young girls with no passion to care for other people’s children. No true lesson plan for students. Center is similar to dropping your kids off at the neighbor’s house.
Too many times showing up with my grandkids and they are understaffed so they can't stay. We work, my daughter works so how do not call your regular families, let them drive there or catch several buses, without a warning. No director or assistant director to come in or call. Today they said they turned away 6 students. How are families supposed to survive, get ahead? This is ridiculous.
Mrs Kara and Mr John is my son Pre-K count teachers and I wish they could teach him all the way to 12th grade they are amazing.
Excellent!!! My son has been going for 6 years!!!
