We found the teachers to be wonderful and very loving toward the children, but the teachers never stay for long. They're either fired with no notification or explanation for the parents or they quit because they are treated terribly. The administration speaks to teachers and staff with such disrespect that one office manager actually physically attacked the director and hospitalized her. During school hours. Just outside the infant and 1-2 year rooms. And the owners never notified the parents or spoke of the incident. We all had to find out through rumors from other parents. The teachers are paid minimum wage (or $20/hour if you hold a masters degree) and the school constantly understaffs so if one teacher calls out the rest of the teachers are often refused bathroom breaks and/or lunch breaks. The teachers have been trying to unionize for 2 years to get fair working conditions but the owners won't sign the contracts. We finally pulled our child out of the school when all of the teachers' paychecks bounced.
My nephew attends this daycare and it is a horrible location. The teachers are uncaring and unprofessional. The director is not invested in providing good care. My nephew has come home with bite marks and scratches on him and when this issue was brought to the attention of the director, she did nothing. N.Y.S. needs to intervene, especially since that children are not safe.
My child has been at this school for over a year. My is now 2 yrs old she knows her colors, shaped, and can count to 20. She also can recognize her numbers. Her speech is amazing. They teachers are very caring and loving. They even do my daughter's hair, which is very helpful. Lastly, you can't beat free diapers and wipes. I love this school!!!
I hate this daycare. They are unprofessional and conniving staff. They lied too much and they have no curriculum for the children at this location. This daycare ought to be shut down. If your is not a child can walk and has some delays they ready to kick the child out. This daycare is a waste of the government money as well as working parents. This daycare will be reported.
If I could give this school 0 stars I would... 1.the school is very unsanitary my child has been sick 4 times since she started which made her miss alot of class,2.they don't watch the children my child was assulted I wasn't notified when my child told me I went the next day to get answers and basically they said that was a lie and that's not in the child's nature protecting the other child. . 3rd. There is no real pre-k curriculum at this school all they do is play and take naps... the worst by far I'm so sorry I put my child in this place.... will be reporting to the board of education asap... please do not put your children in this place....
