Learning Star Preschool was the very first preschool to respond kindly and quickly when we reached out to several schools. As newcomers to Columbia, Missouri, we were unfamiliar with everything, but they always responded promptly, patiently answered our questions, and even invited us to an open house so we could meet the teachers and students before making a decision. We were deeply touched by their kindness and flexibility throughout the whole process. The teachers are not only warm and welcoming, but also truly dedicated to each child’s learning and care. Our daughter loved going every day and never once hesitated, even though everything was new to her. We especially appreciated how the teachers regularly shared photos of daily activities with parents, it gave us great peace of mind and made us feel even more connected. We’ve been extremely satisfied and grateful to be part of this wonderful preschool community!
Both of my kids had the pleasure and opportunity to attend day care at Bright Star / Learning Star from ages 2-5. They absolutely thrived there and the methodology Michelle and her excellent staff uses, focused heavily on listening, empathy, redirection and kindness, have served my kids well into their older middle school years. I have absolutely nothing but wonderful things to say about their time there and would recommend it to all new parents.
My son and I LOVE Learning Star Preschool! My son loves being able to play and learn with his friends and teachers, while doing a variety of different things. I appreciate being sent pictures and updates on him through the app they use. Each time I pick my son up from Learning Star, he is already telling me about how great of a day he had before we even make it down the hallway and out of the building. We are so grateful to be a part of the Learning Star family.
I had an exceptional experience with Learning Star Preschool. From the moment my children started at 8 weeks old (they used to have an infant program) until they were 5 and 6 years old, the staff was incredibly attentive to their needs. Learning Star not only ensured a safe and nurturing environment but also laid a fantastic educational groundwork.
