We joined the Horizons family when our son was 2 years old. Ms. Courtney and staff are very attentive to every child that enters her preschool. Our son is 4 now, and we are so proud of him. He is thriving tremendously!! Horizons preschool helped to bring him out of his shell and we are extremely grateful 🥰🥰🥰

I did a lot of tours before choosing a daycare but as soon as I spoke to the staff and did a tour, I knew my baby was going to be taken care of! They have handled the Covid situation with so much transparency and Grace! I am forever happy that I chose them with my most precious baby! They use Brightwheel which is the best app, I get all the info I need, updates about my little one throughout the day, and sometimes pictures! If you need a preschool they should be number one on your list!

Edit: Take a look at how the owner is responding to negative reviews. Not even an inkling of ownership for any wrong-doing on their part; immediately goes to belittling her clientele. This should be an indicator of what to expect doing business with this center, and more specifically the owner, Courtney Lane. I have had 0 issues with my new day care center in the months I have been with them since leaving this facility. They are extremely flexible with afternoon appointments. In fact, I've noticed a significant increase in my children's mood since switching centers. It is a night and day difference! They always looked so sad when being picked up. It leads me to believe that not only is the center shady in their business practices, but they don't treat your children well, either. Nobody was bullied; your assistant is the one that gave a verbal confirmation that it was okay to return from my daughter's appointment when we left that day. In no way/shape/form did she mention a rule about drop-offs past 3pm, and neither did your handbook (which we had to sign before their first day). The reasoning given as to why we could not return to your center was because you wanted to save costs on teacher's for the day so one was sent home. Interesting how you would like to re-frame this to make this about gender. If your assistant is unable to handle confrontation, perhaps it would be wise to put someone in her position who can. Ironically, had your assistant/center been more up-front about your imaginary 3:00pm rule, we would not be in this position. Luckily, this was the best thing that could have happened to my kids as they were miserable at your center. ~~~ TL;DR - the director of the facility (Courtney Lane) is an embarrassment, and the owner should absolutely find someone who is more competent and less narcissistic to run the program. Do your children a favor and look at EVERY OTHER POSSIBLE OPTION in town before settling to do business with Courtney Lane and Bright Horizons Preschool. Heed my warning! ~~~ Do not expect the facility to cooperate with your children's medical needs. My daughter had a sick appointment, scheduled same-day at 1:30pm EST. The facility was informed via their Messaging platform immediately. When I arrived to pick up my daughter, their receptionist confirmed verbally that my daughter would be cleared to return after her appointment with a note. While in the exam room, at 3:00pm (sharp) I received a call from their receptionist to inform me that "our appointment took too long", therefore my daughter was not allowed back at the daycare for the day. Their reasoning? They saw the first opportunity to cut down on labor and jumped all over it. They sent home a teacher due to the director's novice payment model for her employees. She has NO PROBLEM offloading HER burden onto her paying customers. In fact she is so delusional, she compared her center to a public school as if we are not shelling out $1,320/month for them to PROVIDE A SERVICE to my family. (No wonder their teacher turnover rate is so high!) This policy was not mentioned in the Parent Handbook nor on the contract that I signed in agreement to their services. When I contested their imaginary policy (I'm a single dad who works and did not have back-up options for the day), Courtney Lane refused to acknowledge reason, and doubled-down by belittling me as if I were not a responsible parent. Her entitlement lead her to believe that she has the right to pick and choose when my daughter can visit her pediatrician for a SICK visit. After standing up for myself against the daycare's shady/selfish policies, Courtney's paper-like ego reacted by kicking my children out of the center. This was the best thing that could have happened as conducting business with this woman is nothing but a moot effort. I warn you again: STAY AWAY! Do yourself a big favor and call every other center in town before giving Bright Horizons Preschool consideration.

I was in search of a good daycare and as a new parent I was skeptical about all daycares especially since I've never put my child into a daycare before. I found Bright Horizons Preschool and thought this was the one. My daughter started attending this school at the beginning of April and it was very short lived when I had to unenroll her mid July. Now the assistant Mesha and my child's teacher Ms. Bebe were amazing. But what made me unenroll my child was the director Courtney Lane, who is very unprofessional and rude even when it comes to sensitive matters. We are all trying to cope and understand the happenings of todays world dealing with the Coronavirus. And the directors response to a specific situation was not an ideal response when a concerned parent is asking questions. Especially in light of the situation that was at hand. I understand there will always be unprofessional people in the world but never did I think I would have to deal with such unprofessionalism when it came to someone who directs and owns the facility my child was in attendance to. So that alone made my first daycare experience very unsettling. It's a one star for me.
