Bright Horizons in Scottsdale is more than just a daycare—it truly felt like a second home for our son. We started part-time in the infant room because I was nervous about leaving him, but the staff made us feel so comfortable and took excellent care of him. They follow a strong curriculum, so it’s not just babysitting. We loved getting milestone updates and daily photos through the app. As a parent of a toddler, I couldn’t be happier with the care and learning experience my child received. He had the chance to learn, play, build friendships, and grow in a loving and supportive environment. We had to leave after moving to Peoria, and it was tough finding a place that compared. Miss Kat was so kind and allowed our son to stay a few extra weeks while I toured other schools. The teachers are patient, caring, and truly wonderful. Our son, who’s full of energy, especially loved Miss Onie—she was his favorite! Bright Horizons and the staff are truly the best. Highly recommend!

My experience: You have to at least read this. My son was suspended indefinitely as of 6/11/25. Absolutely no warning. It all Started 1.5 months ago when speech therapy classes was over for summer break. Was called for incidence every so often based on protocol. Understood however! Summer camp started and added extra kids. Please understand. Nothing against any or more kids. But unfortunately my son obviously is not use to a larger class. Was overwhelmed and that was a problem with him. As a parent we’re all looking for the best solution for our children working with the school. So we’ve had multiple meetings to see what may remedy his stay. So they or I will say an employee set the program that may help him. I appreciate it and sold me. We spoke about some things we could do for him while he was attending speech classes from his teacher. but I wasn’t aware of what would come next. They say their policy is if a child acts up twice that they are expected to be picked up. Ok. So they are kids. Can anyone tell me that kids are”super” perfect with no wrong doing. Sorry but I have 2 older kids that had issues during this age period but they all grew out of it and up. I’m sure you can relate. They get over it. My point is! He was dropped without notice( even though at the last meeting I asked if they can at least give me 2 weeks notice so I may find another provider) but they said they’re going to work with him. Sounds like they needed my tuition. Well they gave up and I’m talking giving up my son! I’m talking about. “We need to weed out the kids that are more work and just keep on track with the ones that doesn’t really give the staff a problem. Well wake up. Not all Kids are the same and obviously they’re supposed to be “professional educators “. I expected them to do the job and not easily bail when times are tough. We all pay good and fair money for their services. So there you have it. I ask how can you leave a child behind because of money. That’s the story of our society. I call it “American greed”. Not a good example to the future. Like what happened to humanity. These are kids! Some may be rich parents or not but we’re all working to pay for their future and education. In closing. I feel I and my son was not handled the right way and basically let go because it was too much attention. Hate to say it but I paid full price every week even though I had to pick him up early because “it’s their policy if there is more than one incident “. Buy the way! He would leave to another school for speech therapy for 3 hours so he never got lunch from them. I literally have to pack his lunch 3 times a week. But there’s no credit on that because he missed lunch because of a based on holding policy which I respected the whole year. As a head chef! What ? You can’t hold temp for 5/10 minutes until he returns from the other school? Nope. Its policy. Well maybe someone might look into that because it’s not fair you charge and he doesn’t get. Still paid full price. All I’m saying is be careful and be aware of what can happen. My experience recently was the biggest nightmare. Don’t get me wrong. It was pretty good most of his year there. But I thought I trusted him to professional educators but I guess there’s a little more to it. My opinion is based on my experience. No offense to the teachers in the classes. I think it has a lot to do with upper leadership. And there are 2! I can say are ” immune “. You’ll recognize them when they speak to you. 😉 just monotone I do blame myself for being stupid and being sold. Just be careful. Good luck and I hope you don’t go through the same scenario. Read the reviews! It’s all not recent. 2 years and older. Something is not right. Just a fair warning.

So thankful we found this wonderful establishment! Our daughter has been going here for a little over 3 years with a small break during the start of the pandemic. Every single one of her teachers have been so incredibly amazing. Ms. Heidi, Ms. Abby, Ms. Rachel and Ms. Misha have all been such a vital part of our little ones development! Even the office staff is the sweetest! Mrs. Caitlin, Ms.Kat and and Mrs. Teresa are always on top of things and are always so helpful! And we can’t forget the new assistant teacher that my daughter adores, Mr. Travon. We love that a curriculum is followed and that it’s not just a facility that babysits our child. We get notified through the app each time our child hits a milestone! We look forward to the sports and dance classes returning once the pandemic is over and are super excited for summer water days to return! Another huge plus is the fact that it’s a nut free facility! Having a daughter with a nut/peanut allergy is terrifying! This is just one less thing we need to worry about! The app is great, we love seeing the daily updates and receiving photos of our daughter each day. We love Bright Horizons & the staff! Highly recommend!

My son attended the Twos class for nearly a year until our work situation changed and it was no longer convenient for our family to have him at daycare. It was honestly heart breaking for me as a mother to take him out of this loving place. Everyone who works there is just the most caring and nicest ever. My son grew tremendously mentally, intellectually and socially during this time at Bright Horizons. Also, their in-house chef is incredible and prepares the most delicious meals (they also get dinner!) Our family strongly recommends this daycare to everyone!

My son has been enrolled in the infant room since he was 2 months old. He is now 11 months old and I have nothing but positive things to say about the teachers and atmosphere of this center. Dropping him off in his classroom everyday and knowing that he is being loved and cared for is the best feeling in the world. The teachers truly care about the well-being of each and every child. They provide portfolios for each of the parents that document all of the milestones the child has met. They also provide parent teacher conferences which allows you to ask and questions you may have and get an idea of what your child is doing each day. One of my favorite things is the daily sheet I receive every day that tells me what my child did all day along with times. This gives me a great idea of what my child needs when we get home at the end of the day. The center is also a very safe environment. All of the doors are locked at all times and only individuals with codes are allowed to enter the building. Safety is a top priority to them and I could't be more thankful for that.I can't wait for my child to learn and grow along with his friends and amazing teachers at Bright Horizons!!
