Bright Horizons At Rockaway

Bright Horizons has been absolutely amazing! The center is beautiful, spotless, and so well-run. The staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and truly cares about the kids. Nic and Sarah in administration are wonderful and always so accommodating. This was our third daycare experience, and it’s by far the best — I finally felt at ease dropping my child off each day. We only had a short time here due to a move, but I would return in a heartbeat. So grateful for the peace of mind they gave us! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Our experience at Bright Horizons has been exceptional. The entire team at the Rockaway location has been wonderful in caring for our daughter. The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in the children's well-being and development. We've felt confident and at ease knowing she is in such good hands every day.

We are so grateful for the care and support our children have received at Bright Horizons Rockaway. I currently have two kids attending the center, and we’ve had such a positive experience. Ms. Sheyla has been absolutely incredible in working with us to stay aligned on our child’s academic plan. She goes above and beyond by introducing tools like token boards. We’ve noticed such a positive difference, not only at school but also at home, in both behavior and confidence when reciting letters and numbers. The time, patience, and extra effort Ms. Sheyla puts in are making a real impact. While none of this is required, she chooses to go that extra mile, and it truly means the world to us. The administrative staff is also wonderful, always helpful, responsive, and welcoming. Having a team like this supporting our family has been such a gift.

To say I am thrilled with the care my children receive at Bright Horizons in Rockaway is an understatement. They have been attending for over 2 years and we couldn't be happier. From the first moment I entered the building, I felt completely at ease, and like I walked into a warm and welcoming home. I too went to Bright Horizons as a child and have so many fond memories from that time. It now warms my heart that my children get to experience those wonderful memories as well. Even through a pandemic, the gentle, caring nature of this center has never faltered, instead has grown even more. Even through a mask, my children are still greeted with a familiar smile, a calm voice, and a day filled with educational experiences that bring joy. Each staff member at this center puts their heart into what they do, and that positive energy runs through this center. As an educator myself, I am very impressed with the skills my children are working on in their classroom, that are developmentally appropriate, foster positive attitudes, and encourage friendships and important life skills. Not only are my children learning the alphabet and numbers, but more importantly are learning how to be a kind friend, work through problems, share, celebrate cultures, and become their own person through guided activities that encourage growing. As a family, we are beyond happy to be a part of the Bright Horizons group in Rockaway!

My experience with Bright Horizons has been nothing short of exceptional. I have been well supported by everyone I have interacted with - be it the Center Directors or the teaching staff. My son started in the toddler room at BH this year and it has been 6 months of amazing learning and growth for him. Month1 was hard with my little one getting adapted to this new environment and I was constantly anxious, but timely updates and the comfort of being able to watch him while he was being well cared for, went a long way in easing the transition. Fastforward 6 months and everyday I drop off my son, he is so happy and excited to meet his teachers and friends. Bright Horizons at Rockaway has truly stood out for me in terms of Child Care and I highly recommend them.
