Bright Horizons at Nissan is a great place. Our son started there in June when he was 8 months and although the first couple of weeks were hard for me and dad as I guess is for every new parent, his teachers (Virginia and Michele) and the director (Wendy) handled everything very professionally. They are very nice and patient with our son and us. Our son loves his teacher (Virginia) and always hugs her when we go to pick him up. We would recommend this place to anyone.
Wendy, June and Michele are phenomenal! We had our son in this location for a couple of months and have used it for backup care also. Unfortunately we moved and live way too far away to use this location. However, they run a great facility and we would recommend it to anyone. Our son was very happy here and Wendy and June always greet us with a smile. We wish them all the best and we will miss you!
DFW needs to raise the bar. My 3 yo was at this center for about 6 months in 2017. I transfered her here from an amazing BH in New Jersey. I would not recommend this BH at Nissan. I had to quit my part time job and withdraw my daughter. I ate the $500 for the 30 day withdrawal notice. She had so many issues while she attended here. There was a lot of bullying in the classroom. She was sick all the time, because parents at this center do not keep their kids home when they are sick. She would bring her lunch and the staff neglected to give it to her some days and allowed the children to bully her because she didn't eat the same food that they did(she has food allergies). The classroom was understaffed the duration of her time there. I would see teachers using there cell phones while outside on the play area with the kids. The daily report that the teachers are supposed to fill out for each kid was total bologna. Everyday a staff would write that my daughter had eaten the cafeteria food for lunch, which she definitely didn't do. I received a "daily" email about 3 times in the 6 months she was there. It was a nightmare. Not worth the premium pricetag.
This was my son's the very first school . I could see a lot of improvement in his social behavior .The teachers were also very decent. I was given all kinds of flexibilities . I wanted to continue here for a long time if we did not have to change our place .
Was ok at first, loved all the activities they did, but was annoyed with my little one coming home with a rash and caked on poo. Better than most daycares out there but theres room for improvement
