What Parents Say
Most parents praise Bright Horizons for warm, caring staff, strong child development, and excellent communication. However, some parents express concerns about corporate policies, fee structures, staffing turnover, and customer service responsiveness.
My family absolutely loves Bright Horizons at RTP and could not be more grateful for the care and attention our son receives here. From day one, the staff has been warm, patient, and genuinely invested in not only our child, but each child’s growth and well-being. The teachers do an amazing job creating a safe, nurturing, and structured environment while still allowing the kids to be kids. Our son has grown so much socially, emotionally, and academically, and it’s clear how much thought goes into their curriculum and daily routines. Communication with parents is excellent, and we always feel informed and supported. It brings us so much peace knowing our child is loved, encouraged, and respected every day. We truly feel like this school is an extension of our family and highly recommend it to any parent looking for a center that really cares.
Our experience in the infant and toddler classrooms at Bright Horizons RTP was exceptional. The teachers make this location special. They did a great job communicating, taking care of our child, making her feel loved, and helping her reach milestones. And a special thank you to Ms. Julie and Ms. Kat who made our first daycare experience special.
The teachers have been great overall and some are exceptional. The corporation refuses to accept credit cards as a form of payment, eliminated art, eliminated language, eliminated music, shortened the total hours of care and have passed on annual rate increase over the past 5 years ranging from 8-16% and that's after accounting for how the rates were supposed to decrease as children under care age. 3 different center directors in 5 years. This review was solicited by the center (and so too have referrals offering $100 off $1500 tuition) and I've provided them this feedback before, so here it is publicly.
My daughter has been a child at this development center for over a year now. And I can say that I am extremely pleased with her care. She is advancing beyond expectations and the staff treats her as if she were their own child. I was worried about leaving her in the care of another, but this center has removed any doubt or concern for me. My daughter has grown attached to many of the staff which gives her and I both comfort.
We have nothing but great things to say about the Bright Horizons RTP! The teachers and staff have made the transition into daycare seamless. They are knowledgeable, kind, caring, and show endless patience for new parents like us.
