Bright & Early Children'S Learning Centers

Our family loves Bright Years! From the moment we walked into the school, everyone has been so kind and incredibly warm! The growth we have seen in our kids socially, emotionally and academically has been incredible. We can't believe all that they are learning at their ages - it's amazing and we are blown away at the commitment to their success! They are so excited to go to school and every morning reaffirm "it's going to be a great day!" which as a parent is so comforting to hear! And that is because of the nurturing environment Lindsey, Alex and their teachers - Miss Shantell, Mr. Andrew, Miss Nelly, Miss Diane and Miss Jenny create - and all of the other teachers and support staff!! Everyone knows our kids by name and always greet them with a smile and a hello! That alone goes a long way and makes us feel so welcome and safe. I cannot express enough how grateful we are that are kids are in a space that fosters learning, structure and genuine care - all while having fun! Bright Years is a special place!

I can’t say enough good things about our experience at Bright and Early in Old Saybrook, especially under the leadership of Lindsey and Alex. Both of our children have attended since they were under one year old, and the growth we’ve seen has been incredible. Their vocabulary is advanced, their social skills far exceed what’s typical for their age, and they genuinely enjoy going each day. We are truly thrilled with the care, structure, and attention they receive, and we could not be happier with our experience.

We have been going to Bright Years (formerly Bright & Early) for the past 2.5 years. The teachers have always been hard working, kind and caring but under the leadership of the new director, Lindsey, the school and staff have truly been flourishing. Lindsey is the epitome of a leader - she has excellent communication and cares about you and your child's experience. She has gone above and beyond to make transitions like moving to new rooms not only smooth but also fun for the kids. She is always available for questions and addresses them in a timely fashion, without hesitation. We have so appreciated her approach to running this center and believe that she fosters a positive and fun learning environment for the children, the parents and the staff!

Bright and Early Old Saybrook has been our family’s first daycare experience, and we are so happy with how everything has gone so far! From the start, communication with both administration and staff has been timely and supportive. Before starting, Lindsey, the director, answered my numerous (and probably over-the-top :)) questions about our daughter’s transition to daycare. We are thrilled that our daughter has a safe and loving outlet to socialize with her peers and learn new skills. She has particularly enjoyed the fun summer programming, which included water play and a bubble show! Our daughter is so excited to go to “school” on the days she attends, and that is a testament to the nurturing environment that Bright and Early staff have created.

After trying two other daycare centers nearby, we finally found the right one for our family here. A wonderful addition has been Lindsey (the manager) who has been so accommodating and goes above and beyond—she plans enrichment classes, fun events for the kids, and always makes sure parents feel included. The teachers are incredibly caring (Miss Alex, Miss Adele, Miss Cathy, Miss Mem to include a few), and I feel confident knowing my children are safe, happy, and well cared for. Both of my kids have truly thrived here, and we’re so thankful to have found this center.
