Bright Beginnings - West

This review is way overdue. I cannot express how pleased I’ve been with BB over the past few years. I feel that any concerns I’ve had have been addressed. They are very clear about their policies and keep parents updated on any illnesses, incidents, special school days, and closings. I’ve been able to schedule conferences with teachers in the past. Their tuition is fair and reasonable. Also, they did a great job preparing my oldest for kindergarten. The current director, teachers, and staff have been friendly and helpful. Further, I’ve never had any concerns as to my children’s wellbeing while there and I’ve had them in baby steps through preschool.

After enrolling my son at Bright Beginnings West, I was initially optimistic about the preschool. However, my experience quickly took a negative turn. Despite the promising start, my son began facing challenges at the school. We made several requests for meetings with the teacher to address these issues and work on solutions, but we were only granted meetings with the owner, Michelle, who was not directly involved in our son's day-to-day interactions. Furthermore, our son experienced multiple biting incidents at the school, which we chose not to raise as complaints. However, we found it unfair that minor disruptions, such as standing up during story time, were treated as major issues. The lack of communication and support from the teacher added to our frustration. In conclusion, I would caution others against choosing Bright Beginnings West for their children. There are undoubtedly better options available in the surrounding area that provide a more supportive and conducive learning environment.

Absolutely love this school!! Both of my children attended Bright beginings & our experience was great. The school is very clean & a great learning environment. The teachers & staff are professional, very open & welcoming. We highly recommend Bright beginnings west.

My daughter who is now 5 is finishing up her 2nd year at bright beginnings and I have to say I love this school. If you are looking for a school as opposed to just a daycare this is exactly where you want to be. It is family owned and operated and it is the same owners of the school from when I went to this school as a child and they are very hands on. My list of strong pros: -one of the lowest tuition schools in the area and offers the most -teachers are required to hold 4 year degrees which was something I was not finding at many other schools that were more expensive - they let you chose your own schedule which again most schools do not - small class sizes and large open classrooms -extremely friendly staff to where I feel that I am leaving my daughter with family - the ciriculam and how we’ll your child will grow and learn I looked at many schools before we chose Bright Beginnings in Pitman and this was by far the best and had the most to offer for the best price. I visited and looked around for awhile before deciding to choose Bright Beginnings in Pitman. My daughter is constantly involved in activities and is learning a lot. They have parent-friendly policies and also a summer camp. I always recommend them to anyone who is looking for a preschool and would encourage you to visit their facility to make the decision yourself.
