Bright Beginnings Early Learning Center

If you’re a Jersey City Heights parent looking for a daycare, this is the place. As an early childhood teacher with 13 years of experience, I have very high standards for the care my son receives. I spent a great deal of time touring centers in the area, and the moment I visited Bright Beginnings, I knew it was something special. My son started at Bright Beginnings when he was just five months old. The care he received in the infant room was exceptional, and now that he has moved up to Tiny Tots, he happily runs into his classroom each morning, excited to see his teachers and friends. The teachers are warm, experienced, and attentive, and they genuinely treat each child as if they were their own. The director, Erika, is wonderful and always available to talk through any questions I have about my son or his development. The families and children at the center are also incredibly kind, making it feel like a true community. We feel so grateful to be part of Bright Beginnings.

Our baby has been going to this daycare for about a year and we can say hands down the best choice we made this year was enrolling her here. The teachers are amazing and genuinely care for every child here. Our baby loves the food and learns a ton. They staff speaks and sings to the babies in English and Spanish which was important to me when looking for a daycare. The children are consistently engaged in all kinds of enriching activities and we can see their development day by day. They take the children on walks to a nearby park, they do finger painting, story times and many other activities. We highly recommend any parent in the area to give this place a shot you will not regret it and your child will be better off for having done so.

Choosing childcare for a child with special needs is not easy, but Bright Beginnings gave our family peace of mind. The staff was patient, attentive, and genuinely caring, and our child was treated with understanding and respect. The environment felt safe, nurturing, and well-structured, and communication with leadership was always clear and responsive. Knowing our child was supported and cared for meant everything to us, and we are truly grateful for our experience.

My son started here when he was 8 months old and immediately took to the routine and the staff. They do so much with the kids including trips to the park, outdoor play in their own backyard, art projects, holiday celebrations, developmental play, reading, singing and more. We get daily updates through the app so we always know what’s going on and it’s very easy to communicate with the staff. They make fresh meals daily which is such a weight off of a household with two working parents and their rates are very reasonable for the area. It’s truly a hidden gem in The Heights as far as daycares are concerned. I’d highly recommend to any local parents.

We love Bright Beginnings so much! Our daughter started when she was 6 months old in the infant room. She is now in the toddler room and our son is in the infant room. He started when he was 7 months old. Both of my kids love school so much. The teachers are so caring, warm, and supportive. They come home with the cutest art projects. The food that is provided daily is nutritious and I love that I don’t need to pack breakfast, lunches or snacks each day. The app is updated throughout the day so I know how they are doing, what types of activities they are engaging in, how long they nap, and what kinds of meals they are eating. I never worry about my kids when they are at school- I know they are in the best hands. I highly recommend Bright Beginnings!
