I am happy with the teachers and the new director’s role. My baby has been going here since he was six weeks old and I love the way they treat him and recommend this school for any parent who has doubts, they have helped me navigate being a first time parent. They are my village!
I absolutely love this daycare. Mrs. Shanette is amazing. Her whole staff is especially Margie and the lady in the infant room. I had so much anxiety going back to work. Thank you ladies for all that you do
I gave this daycare 2 stars because my child was safe. If you need a place for your child to hang out for a cheap price then this is ok. The last person that was in the infant room was breath of fresh air, I would give her a 5 star aside from the actual daycare, my daughter absolutely adored her. I could tell she didnt really belong there because her level of professionalism was different from the rest of staff, I could tell she was dedicated to the children, however, the infant room was not very equipt for infants, too many people are hired and gone in short periods of time, which makes it hard to build trust. There are no real curriculums, just basic arts and craft, not an actual learning environment. It's not very clean at briarpatch, I'm not even sure if they keep cleaning supplies at all times. The staff ALWAYS looks overwhelmed. The daycare director and her assistant was always nice and informative but not very truthful. One of them keeps bringing a dog in the daycare in a plastic bin as if they dont have enough to take care of, this was also concerning because that is unsanitary. They were almost never organized, they even tried to tell me that I owed them money that I never owed, I always payed them. The director would tell me things about other parents which was inappropriate and quite uncomfortable, of course I kept it to myself, however I felt that it was concerning because of confidentiality. At a quick glance the daycare looks clean, once you take an actual walk through the daycare you will find that the daycare is falling apart. There are alot of healthcode/building violations. I recently pulled my daughter out of that daycare for those reason. My biggest mistake was not speaking to the owner of the establishment, I have reached out to them, hopefully we'll be able to speak soon the clear up some of these concerns, in all honesty they will need to reevaluate the people that runs this daycare
This daycare is the reason I will never let my child attend daycare, they are nasty, the manager lets roaches lay around dead for days, the sanitation is disgusting, when you bring your child in make sure you look around the daycare first, the manager don’t wash dishes, she cover aluminum foil on top of pans and keep the aluminum over it for days, they use sink water To fill up containers to drink, and Houston is Known to have chemicals floating in faucet water. This manager doesn’t care, she needs to be readjusted because this daycare is out of control, every time I go up there, it’s new workers, no one makes this place a home. Please help briars patch Learning center become more professional please!
I give this center 5 Stars because the atmosphere was very pleasant, also Director and Staff, When I entered the center it smelled and looked very clean. Children are learning though a curriculum and I would recommend to all my friends and family. oh and one more thing my child did not want to leave.
