Brenwood Academy

We had a tour today of the 8991 E Cherokee Location. We arrived and a lady met us at the door; she seemed unaware of our scheduled tour. She did not use the safety feature of the intercom to see what our business was at the school she proceeded to just let us walk in. She made my mother in law and me feel uncomfortable from that point- kind of as if we were taking up her time. She never introduced herself or even asked us our names. We still don’t know who it was we talked to because she never once said her name. Although my daughter is 8months and I don’t plan on her starting daycare until she is 3; I wanted to tour schools in the area to see if she needed to get on waiting lists etc. She then proceeded to take us on a very underwhelming tour of the facilities. She showed us the smaller 2’s and smaller 3’s rooms. Of all the schools we’ve toured, this was by far the messiest. Both rooms had spills and wet food on the floors. I get it, I know spills happen in daycares, but these had been left for some time and teachers nor staff were attending the mess. Maybe had the staff been more prepared for our scheduled tour it might have been better, but from this experience alone made my choice to rule BBMA out as a place for my daughter.

They hire the best teachers. They really know each and every kid and parent that comes here. It feels like a family not just a school. My daughter loves it here. All my future kids will go here as well. They give you updates all day long send you photos of what they are doing. We truly love big blue marble in canton. The directors Ms. Arianna, Ms. Shawn & Ms. Savannah are just simply the best along with all the teachers my daughter has ever had here. She has been there since she was 2. They offer so much, spanish class, amazing athletes, dance class, karate, structured learning & special events for the school. We love it and recommend anyone here.

We love BBMA. I love all the crazy, creative, interesting, and educational things the curriculum exposes my toddlers to. This (and the amazing teachers) makes them (and us) love school so much. We made the best choice 3 years ago when we chose BBMA.

We recently moved to the area from Chattanooga and were super nervous to find a good daycare as our last daycare was incredible and like family. BBM has exceeded our high expectations. I love when you walk in and it smells like my home and not a dirty diaper. I love seeing the staff constantly cleaning. My kids and especially babies are clean when I pick them up! They offer many extracurriculars like Spanish and Dance and Karate. The security is top notch. Teachers love my kids! And admin respects my working schedule and only calls when they need me. They also have an app that keeps me informed throughout the day of every thing my children are involved in, which makes our car rides home meaningful as we talk about their day! We couldn’t be happier!

BBMA Canton is my daughter’s home away from home! As a shy little girl with sensory difficulties, we were concerned with how she would do in a daycare environment. We ultimately enrolled her due to her advanced speech and thinking skills and needing her to have a place where she can use those skills. We have been nothing but pleased from DAY ONE!! She is absolutely thriving at BBMA Canton. They offer a global curriculum and she learns about the world in both English AND Spanish, which she is also now using at home! As a culturally and religiously diverse household, it’s been such an important thing for us that she learns about the world, and BBMA is the best place for it! She has outstanding teachers. Every staff member knows her name and can identify myself and my husband as her parents. We have been kept meticulously informed from Day One about all happenings with our child and with the school, including illnesses, lost shoes, needing to provide additional supplies, potty training strategies and techniques, odd bumps or rashes, allergen exposure, building maintenance, and anything else that may be important. Her egg allergy and her severe eczema have been accommodated and cared for with no issue. The school also takes illness outbreaks VERY seriously compared to other places and we are very grateful for that. They know our kiddo like the back of their hand. And weekly tuition here is VERY reasonable for such a high standard of care. We are so glad to be a part of the BBMA family and we love our school!
